FMGE 2022 Question Paper Analysis and Answer Key (December session)
The test paper 1 was easy as comparision to test paper 2, as per the students who appeared for the exam. The difficulty level of test paper 1 was easy to moderate. Most of the questions in Paper 1 was direct in nature while students found it tough to answer paper 2. A large number of questions in Paper 2 were based on cancer staging, treatment, and modification of PYQs.

FMGE Previous Year Papers are important source to seek firsthand information regarding the difficulty level of the exam. FMGE Previous Year Papers can be accessed from various books in which previous year questions have been collated by the authors. The FMGE Previous Year Papers are also available on several website in PDF format for the aspirants to download.
The exam conducting body does not allow candidates to retrieve the question paper as the exam is conducted in online mode. Therefore, the available previous year question papers are mostly memory-based and not the actual ones which are asked in the exam.
Q: Is it necessary to attempt all the questions in FMGE 2024?
No, it is not mandatory to solve all the questions as per the FMGE exam pattern 2024. However, because there is no negative marking in the examination, candidates are advised to solve as many questions as possible. No marks will be deducted if candidates leave questions unattempted.
Q: Will there be any subjective type questions in FMGE 2024?
No. The FMGE 2024 exam pattern clearly states that the question paper will only have multiple choice/objective types questions. There will be 300 questions for which 5 hours will be allotted to the candidates. Each question will have a weightage of 1 mark. There will be NO negative marking in the exam.

FMGE 2022 Exam pattern and Marking Scheme
According to the exam pattern, the exam will be held in computer-based mode. The language of the paper will be English only. The question paper will have 150 questions from each section (A &B). candidates will be given 2.5 hours to solve each section. The first section will comprise questions from pre and para clinical (100 mark) while second section (200 mark) will have clinical based questions. It must be noted that there is no provision of negative marking for wrong answer in the exam. Candidates will have to score at least 50% marks, i.e 150 from 300 to qualify for the exam.

FMGE 2022 Question Paper Analysis (June session)
According to students who appeared for June session, the difficulty level of the exam was moderate to high. Maximum questions were tricky and based on concepts. Maximum questions were asked from topics such as Surgery, Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, PSM etc. One liner direct questions were a very few in number.
