NEET PG 2022 exam will be held on May 21 in computer-based mode. Candidates now have around 15-20 days time to give the final shape to the NEET PG 2022 preparation. Candidates should plan things in such a way so that they could finish at least two revisions before the exam day. Previous NEET PG question papers and mock tests must be included in the daily route to get an idea about exam pattern and the type of questions asked in the exam. Make a smart time schedule

Candidates need to draw a smart schedule taking into account both, remaining time for the exam and the current status of the preparation plan. Keeping in mind NEET PG 2022 pattern and marking scheme, start giving the final touch to each topic in the NEET PG 2022 syllabus. The candidate could allocate time as per the weightage of the particular topic. One needs to understand that this time is for brushing up each and every topic and not to start afresh. Candidates should revise the topics and then test themselves how they perform.

Q:   How to study effectively to score good rank in NEET PG exam?

A:

Before starting NEET PG preparation, candidates need to have plan and strategies in place. Effective time management is crucial for the preparation. First of all take stock of the situation where actually you stand in terms of preparation. You should ask yourself following questions:

  • Which are the topics your are confident at
  • Which are the subjects which needs more attention
  • Which are the subjects where you need to start from scratch
  • What are your srength and weakness

These are some of the prembles of your preparation strategies. Following after make daily schedule allocating specific time for each subject. Try to cover those subjects first where you feel confident of scoring well. Try to finish syllabus at least a month before exam. 

 

Q:   Which part is difficult in NEET PG syllabus?

A:

As such no section is easy in NEET PG syllabus. Some candidates may find clinical section easy while others may perceive para clinical as difficult. In reality, all the three sections clinical pre and para clinical are equally difficult and candidates have to devote good amount of time to prepare in and out of every subjects. It must be noted, a good number of questions are clinical based, so this section holds huge importance.

Some topics of pre and para clinical are utmost important as lots of questions are from them. Point is candidates should prepare all three sections in such manner so that 90 percent questions can be answered easily. Last year, clinical section was difficult in comparision to other two sections.

Q:   How much time is sufficient for NEET PG preparation?

A:

This depends on a number of factors. Preparation time may vary from candidate to candidate as per their individual ability. On an average candidates should have 3-5 months to give their best shot at NEET PG. Out of 5 months preparation time, 2 months can be dedicated for topic preparation, 1 months for revision and rest for mock test and practising sample papers. Candidates should plan in such a way so that lengthy and difficult subjects can be covered within 1-2 weeks while easy and short subjects to be covered in 3-5 days.

Rely on self-prepared notes

Prepared notes are something that a candidate can rely upon. These notes have been prepared by candidates themselves after reading the NEET PG 2022 topics thoroughly. At this point of time when candidates have less time, notes could help them to memorize things in an easy way. With one glance, candidates will be able to remember what they studied in past from that topic.

The checklist is something that gives an idea of what to work on and how to do the same. Candidates who are all set to appear for NET PG 2022 should make a checklist of what topics were already covered and what needs to be covered more. This exercise will help you to study in organised manner to complete syllabus on time.

Revision with strategy

Revision is a critical step of the preparation plan. As candidates must have covered all the topics of NEET PG 2022 till now, they should make a robust plan of revision that will help them to gain confidence before the D-day. Three stages of revision will help you to score well in NEET PG 2022. Use your own notes and don’t consult new sources for the first stage of the revision. In the second revision, only study those topics which you are weak at. In the last revision, try to cover the complete syllabus in a shorter span of time.

NEET PG 2024 question paper was difficult as compared to last year. The overall difficulty level of the question paper was  moderate to difficult. More than 80 pecent questions were based on clinical scenerio. A good number of questions were asked from topics such as Surgury, Gynaecology (OBS GYNE) and other topics. 160-170 questions were easy to attempt.

NEET PG is a national level entrance test through which the admission is offered into post-graduate medical courses. Being the national level entrance test, the exam is not an easy nut to crack. Applicants will have to study and know the syllabus well in order to do well in the entrance examination. Don’t spend too much time on medicine as there are just 21 MCQs from there. 2. The first and second part subjects are probably more important as most people don’t study them. 3. Q:   Was NEET PG 2024 exam difficult?

A:

NEET PG 2023 exam was easy as compared to last year. The overall difficulty level of exam was easy to moderate. Most of the questions were direct, only 8-10 questions were confusing. More than 80 pecent questions were based on clinical scenerio. A good number of questions were asked from topics such as Contraception, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBS GYNE), Mycology, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry. 170-180 questions were easy to attempt. 

Q:   Is 450 good score in NEET PG?

A:

Based on the analysis provided, a score of 450 is not considered a good score in NEET PG. The cutoff percentile for NEET PG 2024 is different for candidates belonging to different categories, but a score of 450 would fall under the low score category for all categories. To qualify the examination, a candidate needs to secure more than or equal to the cutoff percentile prescribed by the NBE, which is different for each category. Therefore, a score of 450 may not be sufficient to secure admission to a good college.

Practice NEET PG 2021 mock tests daily

One should be accustomed to the exam day so that it doesn’t come as a surprise to a candidate. NEET PG 2022 Mock test is a replica of exam test paper. Attempting online tests will help you to learn how to manage time while attempting questions. Mock tests will also test your speed. Also, you can become better by analyzing and evaluating your weak points and areas. Mental preparation is vital, and mock tests will guide you for the real NEET PG exam 2022.

Check previous years question papers

A month before exam, take stock of the situation. It’s an ideal time to evaluate yourself and test your preparation. One should check previous year's question paper to get an idea about the type and nature of questions to be asked in the exam. Try to solve at least 100 questions every day which will boost your confidence for the exam day.

Avoid using too many study resources

Some of the candidates have the misconception that they can mug up everything from everywhere so that they will be able to answer every question in NEET PG 2022 exam. This is practically not possible and at times impacts the preparation strategy. Try to focus on the concept and refer to the books and study materials as per the syllabus. Don’t get confused with the plethora of reference materials in the market. What matters is how clear you are with the concepts and how well you can apply your analytical power while attempting the questions during the exam.

Doubts are something that must not be allowed to sustain too long. If you have any doubt regarding any topic, you should not hesitate to seek help from your seniors, teachers, or any peers and clear them as soon as possible. Understand, the time is crucial and don’t stick on any subject area which is taking too much time at this stage.
