NEET SS 2024 exam dates were announced by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on September 13, 2024. The exam will be conducted on Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30, 2025, in exam centres across India. NBEMS will announce the NEET SS 2024 exam dates for other events such as application, admit card and result tentatively by December 2024, in the form of NEET SS 2024 notification and information bulletin. The NEET SS 2024 exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode in two days and two slots. The apex court had directed the National Medical Commission (NMC) to schedule the NEET SS 2024 exam so that postgraduate medical students completing their course in January 2025 do not suffer.
Announcing the dates, NBEMS stated, “The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) shall conduct the NEET-SS 2024 on 29th and 30th March 2025 at various examination centres across the country. The applicants are advised to refer to the NBEMS website time to time for final schedule of examination to be published in the Information Bulletin for NEET-SS 2024.”
NEET SS is the postgraduate super speciality medical entrance exam conducted in a computer-based mode for 2.5 hours of 150 minutes. There are 13 groups or super speciality subjects that are tested and candidates will have to choose their question paper groups during the application process. The papers are scheduled so there will not be a clash of exam dates or slots.
NBEMS had earlier announced a change in the NEET SS exam pattern from this year onwards. The exam will have time-bound sections. A detailed explanation of the pattern or structure of NEET SS will be provided once the information bulletin is released. Q: How many slots are there in the NEET SS exam?
The NEET SS exam is conducted for a window of two days, with two slots in each day. Hence, the total number of slots in which NEET SS exam is conducted is four. NEET SS 2024 For Foreign Nationals
Foreign nationals who wish to pursue a super speciality course from India need to appear for the NEET SS 2024 examination and clear it. Such candidates do not need to be registered with the MCI/ SMC, provided he/ she is duly registered with the appropriate authority in his/ her own country.
On securing a seat through NEET SS, the MCI may grant temporary registration to these candidates for the duration of the postdoctoral course. This registration will be temporary and will be limited to the medical college/ institution to which he/she is admitted.

Yes, there is no age limit for the candidates appearing for NEET SS. Age limit is one of the eligibility criteria. The application process for NEET SS 2024 will start with the release of the application form. Candidates will have to register first by providing basic details such as name, date of birth, Email, and mobile number to generate login credentials. Registration is mandatory to fill and submit the NEET SS application form. Candidates must note that NBE only accepts online application forms for the NEET SS exam. Offline and any other modes of applications are not accepted for the exam. NEET SS Cutoff

NEET SS 2023 cutoff was released along with the result for each group. As per the information bulletin, the qualifying NEET SS 2023 cutoff was 50 percentile, which was later reduced to 20 percentile. The cutoff refers to the minimum score one has to obtain in order to qualify for the next round of admission, which is the counselling process. The NEET SS cutoff 2023 score varied for each specialty. Obstetrics and Gynaecology group had the highest cutoff whereas the Medical group had the lowest NEET SS 2023 cutoff.

NEET SS 2024 Counselling

NEET SS or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses) is conducted by the National Board of Education for admission to various DM/ M.Ch. Courses. It is a qualifying cum ranking examination for admission to super speciality courses. For appearing in NEET SS, aspirants should hold a postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) or any equivalent examination. By qualifying the exam, candidates can take admission in speciality courses. According to the Indian Medical Council Act, 2016, no other entrance test is valid for admission to these courses. NEET SS is conducted annually in computer-based mode.

No. NBE doesn't send NEET SS admit card on email. Candidates have to download the admit card from the official website, nbe.edu.in. Candidates are informed through SMS/Email alerts and website notice regarding availability of the admit card on the official website. Candidates do have to affix firmly their the latest passport size photograph in the space provided on the admit card. The photograph should be coloured with white backround. To download NEET SS admit card, candidates need to enter login ID and password. There is no fee involved to download admit card multiple times.
