SSC GD 2023:The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release SSC GD 2023 notification for the recruitment of Constables (General Duty) in different forces like CRPF, BSF, CISF, SSB, ITBP, AR, SSF, and NIA. 

The Commission will soon release the SSC GD Constable Result 2022-23 on the official website, ssc.nic.in. Direct link will be activated below after its release.

The SSC GD 2022-23 Exam conducted from January 10 to February 14, 2023. It was a Computer-Based Examination (CBE) which will be followed by a Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), and Medical Test. The commission released the SSC GD tentative answer key 2022-23 on the official website at ssc.nic.in on February 18, 2023. Candidates submited challenges from February 18, 2023 to February 25, 2023 (5:00 PM) for a fee of 100/- per challenged question or answer. Q:   When is SSC GD cutoff released?

A:

The SSC GD Constable cut off is released along with the declaration of result. The SSC CGD cut off is generally released within two months of the conduct of the exam. The cut off is announced separately for male and female candidates and category-wise for General, OBC, ST, EWS and ESM. The cut-off marks are fixed state-wise or UT-wise.

SSC GD 2023 forms can be filled out online, and no physical forms will be available to the candidates. The SSC GD 2023 application form has two parts, namely Part I (registration) and Part II (application form). While filling out the SSC GD Constable application form, candidates need to pay the required fee, which is INR 100 (women/SC/ST/ex-servicemen candidates are exempt from fee payment). However, before proceeding with the application process, candidates are advised to check their SSC GD eligibility.

The SSC GD 2023 Apply Online link will be activated by the officials just after the release of the notification on the official website, ssc.nic.in. Candidates who are eligible and interested can apply online from the official portal or from the direct link that will be provided below. Candidates are advised to apply for the SSC GD 2023 Constable exam positions on or before the deadline. The direct link to apply online will be activated.

The SSC GD 2022–23 application link was activated until November 30, 2022. Candidates who want to appear for the SSC GD 2022–23 exam must have filled out the application form online before the last date, which was November 30, 2022.

The SSC GD Constable application fee is INR 100 for every candidate to register themselves. However, women, SC, ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the fee payment.

  • A page with registration and login forms will be displayed.
  • If a candidate has already registered for SSC exams, then just fill in the login details to apply for the SSC GD 2023 Constable Exam. But if a candidate has not yet registered, he or she needs to fill out the registration form.
  • After logging in, go to "Apply now" and fill in the required details, including name, father's name, mother's name, education qualification, address, etc.
  • Now, fill in the communication address and upload your photo and signature.
  • Before submitting the form, preview the details.
  • After submitting the form, the next step is to pay the fee. The SSC GD 2023 application fee is acceptable in online and offline modes.

SSC GD 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the SSC GD 2023 Exam have been prescribed in the notification. It covers all aspects of SSC GD eligibility criteria, such as education requirements, age limits, and nationality requirements for the exam. The notification also mentions the relaxation provided for certain categories. Candidates must be citizens of India, Nepal, or Bhutan to apply online for SSC GD 2023 recruitment. Because the vacancies are announced by state/UT, a candidate must submit a domicile/PRC against his state/UT to claim any reservation.

A candidate applying for the SSC GD Constable exam must have a minimum age of 18 years and should not exceed 23 years of age. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005.

SSC GD 2023 Vacancy

The SSC GD 2023 notification will mention the vacancies for male and female candidates separately. Vacancies for the SSC GD 2023 exam will be announced after the release of the notification. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced the revised vacancies for SSC GD 2022-23. The vacancies have been revised to 46,435. A total of 41,250 vacancies have been announced for male candidates and 5010 for female candidates. A. SSC GD 2022 exam was conducted online from January 10, 2023 to February 14, 2023. The SSC GD 2022-23 Constable admit card was released separately for all the stages of the exam. Candidates downloaded the SSC GD Constable 2022 admit card from the official website by using their login credentials.

Q. Does SSC GD held every year?

A. The SSC GD exam is the General Duty Constable examination conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for the recruitment of eligible personnel in various Government departments and Ministries of the country. SSC GD recruitment process started with the release of an official notification.

Q. How many vacancies are announced in SSC GD 2022–23?

A. SSC GD vacancies 2022-23 were released on November 26, 2022. The Commission released the force-wise and category-wise vacancies in the official notification. The Commission also released the number of vacancies for males and females separately. The total number of vacancies in the SSC GD 2022-23 exam was 45,284. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the tentative SSC GD vacancies 2022-23.  The vacancies have been revised to 50187. Earlier, a total of 45,284 vacancies were announced in the SSC GD notification 2023. Out of the total SSC GD vacancies,  44439 are for male candidates and 5573 are for female candidates.

Hi Milaram mula, the age relaxation for OBC (Other Backward Classes) category candidates in SSS GD exam is 3 years. They can get selected even if they have 3 years more aged than the general category students as they have 3 years age relaxation.
