IBPS PO Mains Shift Timings 2023: Exam Time Duration, Reporting Time And Exam Instructions

The roles and responsibilities of IBPS PO are given below:

• During the probationary period, selected candidates are trained for various day-to-day banking operations such as finance, accounting, billing, investment, revenue collection, etc.
• Probationary Officer has to resolve the queries of their customers
• Probationary Officer is responsible for the maintenance and supervision of their respective branch activities
• Probationary Officer is responsible for bringing new business to the branch
• Probationary Officer has to direct daily transaction activities and loans related activities
• Probationary Officer is responsible for maintaining public relations with the cutoners and bring issues and grievances to the bank authority

IBPS PO full form stands for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officers. The exam is conducted online once a year and comprises three-stage selection process-prelims, Mains and interview. Candidates are recruited in 11 participating banks. The final selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam and interview. The prelims exam comprises 100 marks and Mains paper carries 250 marks.

IBPS PO exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection to select eligible candidates for the post of Probationary Officers in different public sector banks in India. The exam is being conducted every year since 2011. IBPS PO exam is for selection of candidates for the 11 public sector banks. IBPS PO exam is conducted online at various locations throughout India. The selection process of IBPS PO comprises prelims exam, mains exams and interview. The prelims exam is qualifying in nature. The final selection of candidates is done based on the performance in the mains exam and interview. The participating institutes verifies the eligibility of candidates after which they are provided appointment.
