NABARD Eligibility Criteria 2022: National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) prescribes NABARD eligibility criteria for Grade A, B & Group C posts. NABARD eligibility criteria include nationality, age, and educational qualification. According to NABARD eligibility criteria, candidates must be graduates for Grade A & B. For Group C posts, the required educational qualification is Class 10 pass. The age limit for Grade A posts is 21 to 30 years, while it is 25 to 32 years for Grade B posts. The age limit for Group C posts is 18 to 30. The minimum percentage required in graduation is 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/ST/PWBD) for Grade A and B. There is no minimum percentage in educational qualification for Group C posts. Candidates applying for NABARD 2022 exam need to fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria to be eligible for the exam. A:

Candidates can select only one centre for Phase-I and one centre for Phase–II separately and must indicate the choice of centres in the online application. Choice of Centre by candidates for Phase-I and Phase-II Examinations can be different and must be indicated in the online application. The number of centres for Main Examination is taken by NABARD, based on the availability of adequate number of candidates.

The different stages of NABARD Eligibility Criteria 2022 are as follows:

NABARD Eligibility Criteria 2022 for Grade A P&SS

Candidates applying for P&SS are required to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

Age as on July 1, 2022

  • The age of candidates should be between 25 and 40 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than July 2, 1982, and not later than July 1, 1997 (Both days inclusive)
  • No relaxation in the age limit is given to any category

Experience (As on July 1, 2022)

Candidates should be an officer with a minimum of five years of commissioned service in the Army/Navy/Air Force and hold a valid ex-serviceman identity card.  Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers should have rendered at least five years continuous Military Service and should have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year from the cut-off date (01-07-2022) specified, i.e. on or before 30.06.2023), otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or on account of physical disability or have been released on account of physical disability attributable to Military Service or on invalidment. Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers who have completed their initial period of assignment of five years of Military Service but whose assignment has been extended beyond five years and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issues certificates that they would be released on selection within three months from the date of receipt of offer of appointment, may submit a copy of this certificate along with the printed copy of online application for the post.

NABARD Eligibility Criteria 2022 for Grade A RBDS

NABARD Grade A eligibility criteria 2022 for RBDS in terms of educational qualification for different posts is given in the table below.

Animal Husbandry

Graduation in Veterinary Sciences/Animal Husbandry with 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/PWBD)

Or,

Postgraduation in Veterinary Sciences/Animal Husbandry with 55 per cent (50 per cent SC/PWBD)

Fisheries

Graduation in Fisheries Sciences with 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/PWBD)

Or,

Postgraduation in Fisheries Science with 55 per cent (50 per cent for SC/PWBD)

Forestry

Graduation in Forestry with 60 per cent (55 per cent SC/PWBD)

Or,

Postgraduation in Forestry with 55 per cent (50 per cent for SC/PWBD)

Plantation/Horticulture

Graduation in Horticulture with 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/PWBD)

Or,

Land Development-Soil Science

Graduation in Agriculture/Agriculture (Soil Science/Agronomy) with 60 per cent (55 per cent for PWBD)

Water Resource

Postgraduation in Hydrology/Applied Hydrology or Geology/Applied Geology with Hydrogeology/Irrigation /Water Supply & Sanitation as one of the subjects with 55 per cent (50 per cent for PWBD)

Finance 

BBA (Finance/Banking)/BMS (Finance/Banking) with 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/ST/PWBD)

Or,

Two years full-time PG Diploma in Management (Finance)/full-time MBA (Finance) with 55 per cent (50 per cent for SC/ST/PWBD) from insitutions/universities recognised by GOI/UGC with graduation in any discipline

Candidates are required to submit a certificate from institution/university regarding
specialization in Finance/Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis with 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/ST/PWBD)

Or,

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution with Membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)

Or,

Candidates have certification in CFA

Computer and Information Technology

Graduation in Computer Science/Computer Technology/Computer Applications/Information Technology with 60 per cent (55 per cent SC/PWBD)

Or,

Postgraduation in Computer Science/Computer Technology/Computer Applications/Information Technology with 55 per cent (50 per cent for SC/PWBD)

NABARD Eligibility Criteria 2022 for Assistant Manager in Grade A (Rajbhasha) 

Graduation from a recognised university in English or Hindi medium with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject with 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/ST/PWBD) and PG Diploma in Translation (minimum one year) in Hindi to English and vice-versa from a recognised university. Candidates must have studied English and Hindi as subjects in atleast two years of graduation

Or,

Postgraduation in Hindi with 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/ST/PWBD). Candidates must have studied English as main/elective subject in atleast two years of graduation

Or,

Postgraduation in English with 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/ST/PWBD). Candidates must have studied Hindi as main/elective subject in atleast two years of graduation

Candidates must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice-versa

NABARD Age Limit 

Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years as on July 1, 2019. Candidates must have been born not earlier than July 2, 1992, and not later than July 1, 2001. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit as given below.

NABARD Eligibility Criteria 2022 for Manager Grade B

Candidates need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria for NABARD Grade B exam:

Age limit

Candidates should be between 21 and 35 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than July 2, 1989, and not later than July 1, 1996.

Educational Qualification

Postgraduation in any subject from a recognised university with 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/PWBD). Candidates must have secured 60 per cent in Class 10, 12, Graduation, PG, MBA/PGDM

Or,

Candidates must have secured 60 per cent in Class 10, 12, Graduation, PG and Professional degree-CA/CS/ICWA

Or,

Candidates must have secured 60 per cent in Class 10, 12, Graduation. PG and PhD

Experience

Candidates must have three years' experience (Two years for SC/PWBD) in related sectors such as Banking, Finance, Agriculture & Allied, and Rural Development. Experience will be recognised post minimum educational qualification (i.e PG).

NABARD Group C Eligibility Criteria 2022 

NABARD Group C eligibility criteria is given below:

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed Class 10 (SSC/Matriculation) from the concerned state/UT under the State/Regional Office to which he/she is applying
  • Candidates should be a domicile of the state/UT
  • Those who possess graduation or higher qualification are not eligible to apply
  • Candidates belonging to Ex-Servicemen category should at least have passed Class 10 (SSC/Matriculation) and rendered at least 15 years of defence service provided they have not graduated outside the Armed Forces

Age Limit

NABARD Group C age limit is between 18 to 30 years. Candidates must have born not earlier than December 2, 1989, and not later than December 1, 2001, in order to be eligible to apply for the exam. 

How many attempts are there in NABARD Grade A?

The official authority did not mention the number of attempts in NABARD Grade A exam. Graduate candidates who fulfil NABARD Grade A age limit can apply for the exam. As long as the candidate fulfills all the NABARD Grade A eligibility criteria, can apply for the exam.

Graduate candidates can apply for NABARD Grade A exam. Candidates must possess the required educational qualification prescribed by the examination authority. Candidates need to secure 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/PWBD) in graduation.

Is Post Graduation necessary for NABARD Grade B?

Any candidate applying for the position of the NABARD Grade B (RBDS) must have completed their post-graduation degree. Post Graduate degree in any subject from any recognized University with a minimum of 60 per cent marks (SC/PWBD applicants 55 per cent) in aggregate.
