RRB NTPC 2023: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will conduct RRB NTPC 2023 exam for the recruitment of candidates for various non-technical posts in the Indian Railways. The posts announced under RRB NTPC are  Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice, and Station Master. It is one of the most popular entrance exams in the country. RRB NTPC notification 2023 will be released on the official website. It is released in PDF format and comprises all the necessary information related to the exam.

RRB NTPC exam is conducted in several stages-CBT 1, CBT 2, Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable), and Document Verification/Medical Examination. Q:   How the fees can be paid for the RRB NTPC exam?

A:
The application fees for the RRB NTPC exam can be paid online and offline. On completion of the application process, candidates are directed to the payment page to choose payment mode-Bank (Online Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and Offline Challan) or Post Office Challans as explained in Para 7 and complete the payment process. If there is a failure of online payments, candidates have to make another transaction. For those paying through offline mode, the payment confirmation may take two hours. In case of payment of fee through post office, the payment conformation may vary from 24 hours to 48 hours. The application fee for all candidates except the fee concession categories is INR 500 whereas it is INR 250 for PwBD/Female/Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class.

Q:   What are the qualifications to write RRB NTPC exam?

A:
RRB NTPC exam is conducted to select eligible candidates for various non-technical level posts in Indian Railways. The educational qualification is prescribed by RRBs for undergraduate and graduate posts. The educational qualification for undergraduate posts is that candidates must have Class 12 from any recognised board. The educational qualification prescribed for graduate posts is that candidates must have passed graduation from a recognised university. Candidates must adhere to the educational qualification prescribed for the exam or else their candidature will be cancelled.

Q:   Is there minimum qualifying marks in RRB NTPC exam?

A:

Yes, there is a minimum qualifying cut off in RRB NTPC exam. The minimum qualifying marks for CBT 1 and 2 for General, EWS categories is 40 per cent, for OBC and SC is 30 per cent and for ST category is 25 per cent. In CBAT, candidates are required to secure a minimum T-score of 42 marks. Besides, cut off marks, candidates are also required to secure the qualifying marks as per their categories. Candidates need to secure the qualifying marks in CBTs and CBAT inorder to qualify the exam. The CBT 1 comprises questions from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The total marks allotted to the CBT 1 are 100. The CBT 2 comprises questions from General Questions Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. Total marks allotted to the test are 120.

A:
The age limit for undergraduate posts is between 18 and 30 years whereas the age limit for graduate posts is between 18 to 33 years. The relaxation in the age limit is provided to the candidates belonging to unreserved categories. RRB NTPC educational qualification for graduate-level posts is graduation. Whereas, candidates applying for undergraduate posts should have passed Class 12.

The job profile of RRB NTPC Station Master is supervising the work of assigned railway station, works as the in-charge of the assigned railway station, ensure timely arrival & departure of trains and handling the issues faced by the passengers. Total pay of Station Master is INR 54,360.

A:

RRB NTPC age limit for candidates applying for the undergraduate level posts should be 18 to 33 years. The age limit for graduate-level posts is 18 to 36 years. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories are given relaxation in the age limit as per government rule. A:
The educational qualification for Undergraduate level posts was Class 12. For Graduate-level posts, educational qualification was Graduation. Provided below is the eligibility criteria for few posts: Commercial Apprentice: Degree from recognised University or its equivalent. Senior Clerk Cum Typist: Degree from recognised University or its equivalent Typing proficiency in English/Hindi on Computer is essential Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk: Class 12 or its equivalent with not less than 50 per cent marks in the aggregate. 50 per cent marks are not to be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability/Ex-servicemen and the candidates who possess qualifications higher than Class 12.
