UPSC Exam Calendar 2024 has been released online on May 10. The UPSC Exam dates 2024 give the timetable of the Union Public Service Commission. UPSC Exam Calendar 2024 Released: Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC calendar 2024 online on May 10. The Commission released the exam dates for all the exams conducted by the Commission every year. In addition to that, it also released the date for the other exams conducted on getting the requisition for the indented departments/ministries.

UPSC Exam Calendar 2024 will be very important for the candidates as well as other recruitment bodies such as Staff Selection Commission (SSC), State Public Service Commissions such as UPPSC, RPSC, HPPSC and the like.

Q:   What is the IAS 2024 Prelims Exam Date?

A:

UPSC has postponed the IAS 2024 prelims exam. The IAS 2024 exam will now be conducted on June 16, 2024.  The Union Public Service Commission mentioned that because of the General Election the Commission decided to postpone the Civil Service Prelims exam.

The Commission released the UPSC calendar 2024 mentioning the notification, the last date of application and the exam dates. The IAS 2024 notification will be released on February 14 and the last date to apply for the IAS exam 2024 was March 6, 2024.

Q:   What are the documents required for the UPSC interview?

A:

The documents required for the UPSC interview, also known as the Personality Test, include:

  • Original Matriculation Certificate
  • Degree Certificate
  • 2 recent passport size photographs
  • Print-out of the e-Admit Card/e-Summon Letter

These documents are essential for candidates to carry during the UPSC interview process to verify their identity and qualifications.

Additionally, candidates may need to submit original documents such as the Matriculation/10th Standard certificate or equivalent certificate indicating date of birth on the day of the interview.

Furthermore, candidates with physical disabilities may be required to provide the original and photocopy of their Physical Disabilities Certificate, especially if they fall under PH-1 (LDCP) category. It is crucial for candidates to adhere to the document checklist provided by UPSC to ensure a smooth and successful interview process.

Q:   How can I know my UPSC roll number?

A:

The candidates can know their UPSC roll number in the manner given below:

  • Go to the official website of UPSC
  • Click on the admit card link floating under the What’s New section
  • Click on the admit card link, enter the registration number and password
  • The UPSC admit card will appear on the screen
  • Check your roll number as mentioned on the admit card.

The other exam-conducting bodies such as SSC and State Public Service Commission cannot conduct the exam on the days of UPSC exams. In the case of conflict, other exam-conducting bodies will be required to postpone their exam.

The UPSC released the exam dates for the Civil Services (IAS) Exam and Indian Forest Services Exam, Engineering Service Exam (IES), Combined Medical Services (CMS) exam, National Defence Academy (NDA) Exam, Combined Defence Service (CDS) exam and other departmental exams conducted on the request of certain ministries. Q:   When did UPSC exam calendar 2024 released?

The Union Public Service Commission releases its UPSC exam calendar one year in advance and follow it in letter and spirit. The Commission mention the notification and exam dates for all of its exam in the calendar. The UPSC exam calendar 2024 was released online on May 10, 2023.

The Commission will also release the UPSC exam calendar 2025 in the first fortnight of May.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) releases the UPSC exam calendar mentioning the notification and exam dates for all the exams one year in advance. The Commission releases all the notification as per the official exam calendar. The last date to apply for the exam is March 5, 2024. The Commission will conduct the CSE 2024 exam on May 26, 2024.

The Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC Engineering Service (ESE) 2024 notification on its official website - ssc.nic.in. The Commission also activated the UPSC ESE (IES) 2024 application with the release of official notifcation. The last date to apply for the UPSC ESE (IES) 2024 application is September 26, 2023. 

The Commission notified 167 vacancies in the official notification. The Commission conducted the IES prelims 2024 exam on February 18, 2024. 

Q:   What are the exam dates for CDS 2025 exam?

A:

Following the latest notice by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the conducting body for CDS examination. The examination form for CDS 1 was out on December 20, 2023 and will remain out till January 9, 2024. Followed by the examination on April 21 ,2024. CDS 2 examination will be conducted on September 1, 2024.

Q:   When NDA 2024 exam be conducted?

A:

NDA 2024 exam dates have been announced by UPSC. NDA 1 2024 exam was conducted on April 21, 2024. NDA 2 2024 exam was conducted on September 1, 2024. NDA 1 2024 exam was conducted to select candidates for January 2025 session and NDA 2 2024 exam was conducted for admission to the courses beginning at NDA & NA in July 2025. NDA exam comprises two papers-Maths and GAT. The total marks allotted to the written exam are 900. The SSB interview carries 900 marks. Candidates qualifying the written exam of NDA are called for SSB interview. Candidates are required to secure 25 per cent in each subject to qualify the exam. The final selection of candidates is done based on the performance in the written exam and SSB interview.
