To meet the eligibility criteria to get admission in the CUET PG 2025 Courses offered, aspirants must satisfy the below-mentioned requirements. 

CUET PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit And Qualifications

According to the CUET PG 2025 information brochure, there is no age limit for the candidates appearing in the exam. The candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2025 irrespective of their age can appear in master’s degree programs in the Central Universities through CUET (PG) 2025 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria of the University to which they are desirous of taking admission.

CUET PG Eligibility Criteria 2025: Nationality

To get eligible for the CUET PG Exam, aspirants must abide by the following citizenship rules:

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • A constituent subject of Nepal, Bhutan
  • A Tibetan refugee who landed in India before 1 January 1962 to make India their permanent home and reside there permanently.
  • Pakistanis, Burmese, Sri Lankans, Kenyans, Ugandans, Tanzanians, Zambians, Malawians, Zaireans, Ethiopians, and people from Vietnam who permanently moved to India.

Indian nationals belonging to certain categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them by the rules prescribed by the Government of India. However, in the case of the Central Universities, the reservation policy of the respective universities shall be applicable.

For Candidates claiming to the SC or ST category

Note-

  1. For admission in Universities through CUET (PG)-2025, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences, etc. of the respective University shall be applicable.  
  2. As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs. 
  3.  Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying to. 
  4.  Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing passing marks on the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfills the Programme-wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.

To be eligible for CUET PG 2025 MBA courses, candidates must fulfill the following requirements.

  • Age Limit: There is no specific age limit for appearing in the CUET PG 2025 exam.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates who have completed or are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) are eligible to apply. However, they must meet the age criteria set by the specific university they intend to apply to. (Minimum aggregate per cent- 50%)

MSc Chemistry

Or Graduation in any branch of Science, BVoc or Engineering with Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics as two of the subjects of study with 55 percent or above marks in aggregate (Relaxation of 5 percent to the SC/ST/PWD/ OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates).

MSc Mathematics BA /B Sc (Hons.) in Mathematics from any recognized Indian or Foreign University (foreign recognition to be as per AIU list) with 50 percent or above marks or equivalent grade in aggregate and 50 percentor above marks or equivalent grade in Mathematics. OR BSc/BA with Mathematics as one of the subjects of study with 55 percent or above marks or equivalent grade (Relaxation of 5 percent to the SC/ST/PWD/ OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates).
MSc Physics BSc (Hons) Physics from any recognized Indian or foreign university (foreign recognition to be as per AIU list) with 50 percent or above marks or equivalent grade in aggregate. OR Graduation in any branch of Science or Engineering with Physics and Mathematics as two of the Subjects of study with 55 percent or above marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.

MSc Data Sciences for Bio - informatics 

Any UG programme in Life Sciences/Pharmacy, BE/BTech in Computer Science and Technology, Information Technology, Biotechnology, BCA/BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science with minimum 50 percent marks. Relaxation in minimum marks will be given as per Government of India policy for reserved categories.

MSc Zoology

Bachelor's degree in any branch of Life Sciences with 50 percent marks {45 percent in case of SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD} from a recognised Indian or foreign University.

MSc Physics

Bachelor's degree in Science with 50 percent marks {45 percent in case of SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD} in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as main subject from recognised Indian or foreign University

MSc Mathematics

2. BSc With Computer Science as one of the subject at Graduation Level.

3. Graduation with Mathematics and 12th in Science Stream.

MSc Chemisrty

BSc degree or its equivalent from a recognised University with minimum of 50 percent of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45 percent or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS candidates with Chemistry as one of the main subjects.

MSc Environmental Science

Bachelor's degree from a recognised University in any discipline of Science/ Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45 percent or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS candidates.

MSc Statistics

An undergraduate student having BSc/BA in Statistics/Mathematics with

1. Statistics as a subject for minimum of
two years in annual system or

2. have a minimum of 4 papers from core Statistics as prescribed in model curriculum of UGC in the semester system and should have a minimum of 50 percent marks in the graduation, provided that the candidate has 45 percent or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS candidates.

MSc Physics

BE/B Tech or BSc Degree with Physics as one of the subject from a recognised University with minimum of 50 percent marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45 percent marks or equivalent grade for SC / ST / OBC / PWD / EWS candidates.

MSc Mathematics

BSc degree in Mathematics from a recognised university with minimum 50 percent marks or equivalent grade for general category, and 45 percent marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS candidates.
