Q:   When will the CUET PG 2025 students' response sheet be released?

A:

NTA is yet to announce the official dates for the release of CUET PG 2025 students response sheet. Candidates will be able to download the CUET PG 2025 student response sheet from the official website either on March 3, 2025, or March 5, 2025, tentatively. 

As per the previous-year trends, the exam officials released the CUET PG 2025 student response sheet along with CUET PG 2025 provisional answer key. The student response sheet will carry the subject questions and the answers marked by the candidates in the CUET PG 2025 examination.  

Q:   Is it compulsory to attempt all the sections of the CUET PG 2024 question paper?

A:

NTA, National Testing Agency is the examination conducting body of CUET PG examination. The exam syllabus, structure of the examination is set by the NTA for the ongoing academic session. 

On the basis of previous year's trends it is highly expected that NTA will set the CUET PG 2024 structure in such a way that the examination will have 2 sections to be attempted by the candidates. The section I of the examintion will be General Aptitude specific and Section II will be subject domain specific which depends upon the subject choose by the candidates while filling up the CUET PG 2024 examination. There is no complusion in attempting any question asked in the examination. However, it is being advised not to attempt the questions for which candiates are not sure about their answer. One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer marked by the candidates.

Q:   How many questions are asked in section A of CUET PG examination?

A:

There are "25 questions" asked in Section 1 of the CUET PG exam. This section is compulsory for all candidates and consists of questions on General English, General Hindi, General Knowledge and Reasoning Ability.

The General English questions will test your understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. The General Knowledge questions will cover a wide range of topics, including history, geography, current affairs, and science.

General Ability questions will cover topics like time, distance, average, mensuration, geometry, profit -loss etc.

There is no sectional timing for attempting these questions. Candidates are required to answer all 25 questions. There is  negative marking for incorrect answers.

CUET PG 2024 question have become very dynamic, and questions are more based on a practical and analytical approach than one-word answers. In the coming years the questions are more coming from the disciplines, which are flourishing in the science domains, and there is no such need to mug up the concepts. Q:   What are the type of questions asked in CUET PG exam?

A:

The type of questions in the CUET PG 2025 exam will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question will have four answer options, and candidates will have to select the correct answer.

The questions in the exam will be based on the syllabus for the subjects that candidates have chosen. The syllabus for each subject is available on the NTA website.

Q:   How many questions are asked in Section B of the CUET PG exam?

A:

There are 75 questions asked in Section 2 of the CUET PG exam. This section contains domain-specific questions on the subject that you have chosen.

For example, if you have chosen the subject of English Literature, then Section 2 will contain questions on topics such as British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, and Literary Theory.

The questions in Section 2 are all multiple-choice questions, and you will be given 2 hours to complete the section A and Section B.

Q:   When should I start solving the CUET PG previous year's question paper?

A:

It is advisable to start solving CUET PG question papers as part of your exam preparation at least 4-5 months before the exam date. This will give you sufficient time to practice and revise the concepts you have learned and develop a strategy for time management and improving your speed and accuracy.

Solving the previous year questions paper will give the idea about the topics in which on's preparation is lacking.You can also use the CUET PG question papers to identify the important topics and prioritize your preparation accordingly. It is important to solve the CUET PG question papers in a simulated environment, similar to the actual exam, to get a realistic experience. A:

There is no fixed number of previous year question paper to solve by a candidate for the preparation of CUET PG Exam. The number of sample papers that a candidate should solve depends on their individual preparation, strengths, and weaknesses. However, it is advisable for candidates to solve as many CUET PG sample papers as possible to enhance their preparation and improve their chances of success in the exam. By solving sample papers, candidates can get familiar with the exam pattern, types of questions, and difficulty level of the exam. It can also help them to identify their strengths and weaknesses and prioritize their preparation accordingly. Candidates can start by solving at least one sample paper per week and gradually increase the frequency as the exam date approaches.

CUET PG 2024 Exam Analysis

CUET PG 2024 exam is yet to commence, however candidates can find the level of difficulty of the examintion by going through the previous year's subject wise exam analysis and difficulty level.

CUET PG 2023 Section 1 or the General section was found to be easy to moderate by maximum number of candidates in the examination centres. The questions were on Language Comprehension had questions from unseen passages.The questions were based on Reading Comprehension and the types of questions were direct from the passage, and others were vocabulary and synonym-antonym, idioms and phrases and basic grammatical based.

In Verbal Ability, some basic and simple questions were asked from Spotting errors, blood relationships, sentence equivalence and many more. Some other questions were asked from analytical skills and from GK section.

CUET PG 2023: Chemistry Analysis

Section A was found to be easy to moderate. In the aptitude and reasoning section many questions were asked from mathematics section like- profit and loss%, Interest (Simple and compound interest), time- distance. Other topics in section A was English comprehension, GK and current affairs. The students who had mathematics in their graduation had found section A more easier than the students who has Biology subjects in their UG courses.

Coming to Section B analysis of chemistry paper, as per the students review the CUET PG 2023 Chemistry exam was found to be moderately difficult. Candidates could expect the lower cut-off as compared to last year's cut-off. Questions were asked from physical chemistry, organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry.

CUET PG 2023: Mathematics Analysis

Section B analysis of the mathematics paper, as per the student's review the CUET PG 2023 Mathematics exam was found to be moderately easy. Candidates can expect a higher cut-off as compared to last year's cut-off. Questions were asked from Real analysis, Complex Analysis, Algebra and Vector Analysis. Many of the questions that were asked in the examination had the analytical approach to answer the questions.
