Those aiming for BA-BEd, BSc-BEd, or any integrated BEd program post-12th were required to opt for Teaching Aptitude as their domain subject. However, the CUET exam pattern has been revised with reduction in the number of domain subjects to 37. Teaching Aptitude is among the discontinued subjects. Instead of choosing Teaching Aptitude for the relevant courses, candidates are not required to take the CUET General Aptitude Test.

No, CUET syllabus is not based on CBSE syllabus as claimed by Education Ministry in Rajya Sabha on August 02, 2023. CUET UG is on of the biggest UG entrance exam carnival conducted for admission in cebtral, state, private and deemed universities.

Changes in CUET 2025 Pattern
The exam pattern for CUET 2025 has been revised with the discontinuation of the Teaching Aptitude subject paper. Instead of Teaching Aptitude, candidates will have to appear for CUET General Aptitude Test. Besides Teaching Aptitude, following domain subjects have been scrapped:

- Legal Studies
- Engineering Graphics
NOTE: Since the General Aptitude Test has replaced all discontinued subjects, candidates who were planning to appear for the Teaching Aptitude exam in CUET 2025 can refer to CUET General Aptitude Test syllabus to start their preparation.
