Review of Hindu College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Our college administration provides placements every year through the placement cell called Odisha. They often conduct seminars and workshops on career-related topics. Numerous companies have been actively participating in placement programs over the past few years, including Google, HDFC, KPMG, Maruti, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides Wi-Fi for everyone. The college has laboratories with all the facilities. There is a new research laboratory that can be used by all students, irrespective of their courses. The college has a fully automated, air-conditioned, and computerised library with over 1 lakh books. Currently, the boys' hostel is not functional but the ladies' hostel is fully functional with all amenities.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable, and they are helpful in moulding us. They provide reading materials for additional knowledge and provide books for reference. They conduct exams in order to make students confident enough to write their semester exams.
Other: As a science student, I am happy with this college because it has everything, including modern laboratory setups. It has been conducting many fests and programs that will make every student happy mentally, socially, and physically.

It is a good college with the best and supportive teachers.
Placements: Placements provided in our college are good. Around 60% to 80% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest salary package is 4 LPA, and the average salary package is 6 LPA. Google is the top recruiting company. Internship rate is very high as around 70% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are provided in our departments like Wi-Fi, 24X&7 library, very clean classrooms, and very good labs for all the subjects with all the facilities. Hostels are good but after covid boys' hostel is not open. Food served in the canteen is good. Medical facilities are available. Our college has a very good large ground for all the sports.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good, helpful, well qualified, and share knowledge. The course curriculum is good and relevant which makes students the best. Exams are average and depend on students' preparation. The pass percentage is above 70%.
Other: I chose this course to study animals and their habits. Many events and fests are organised in our college. Campus crowd is very high.

Sneak peek in the life of a Hinduite.
Placements: Students who are from finance backgrounds (commerce) or the economics department generally do get placements. In science courses, though, there's not much scope of placements in college. The students of Hindu have secured placements in prestigious companies like Accenture, Deloitte, Bain, ZS, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Hindu College is very beautifully designed. It's spread over a huge area of 25 acres & has a huge ground, library, amphitheater, two canteens, and two auditoriums as well. Labs for Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, etc., and museums in the Zoology and Botany departments are also present. A new academic block for science subjects is also present in the college. There's a girls' hostel as well, and the boys' hostel is under construction. Hostel food is not that great, from what I have come to know.
Faculty: Faculty members are very experienced & qualified. The teachers in college are very chill as well, as in they won't bother whether the students show up to the classes or not or whether they understand or not. The method of teaching, I would say, is average since the teachers just prepare a PPT and literally translate stuff, which is something even the students can do. So, one must be self-reliant for studying in college. However, some teachers do teach well too.
Other: I chose this course because I had been very interested in Biology ever since I was in class 6th, and my interest grew all the more when I studied Biology in class 11th & 12th. Therefore, I decided to opt for Zoology. The best thing about my course is that we get to know a lot about the human and animal body in general, and we also gain a lot of practical knowledge about cells and their functioning.

Good environment and placement as well.
Placements: 90% students get placed. The lowest package is 3 LPA, average is 5 LPA and the highest is 10 KOA, About 70% students get internship. Some also get it in foreign companies. Top roles offered are animal criminologist, zookeeper, zoo officer, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good in classrooms. Labs are clean and good, with every equipment available. Every classroom has projectors and speakers. Approximately 2 lakh books are there in the library. Canteen is awesome. Sports complex and a big ground for games like volleyball, basketball, cricket and football are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well qualified. Their teaching technique is unique. They explain with practical presentations and use blackboards for diagrammatic topics. Semester exams are not so tough. The pass percentage is 90.

Hindu College will completely change you in the best ways possible.
Placements: I am a student pursuing B.Sc. (H) Zoology in at Hindu College. I got admission in 2023, so currently, I am a second-year student. We have a placement cell named Odisha in our college, which is very active on the ground. I have not applied for any placement yet. Students in my course mostly, for internships, work under research students or professionals conducting any research. They work with DU professors for their research, mostly to gain experience in academics.
Infrastructure: Our course has both theory and practical components. So, we are provided with a separate department where we have theory classes and separate labs for performing practicals. This is the same with every course. We have a 3-floor library building in our college where students can study till the evening after college hours.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are very well-educated. Most of them are themselves guiding Ph.D. students in their research work, and many have written books that students from all across the campus refer to for academics. The semester exams in our college are designed to test your understanding of the whole concepts taught to you in class. They are not very difficult.
