Rajasthan Pre PG 2024 exam was conducted on June 2, 2024. The academic session for 2024 is over now. The Rajasthan Pre PG 2024 Answer key objection window was open till May 20, 2024. The end date for filing the objection against the provisional answer key was June 13, 2024. Rajasthan Pre PG exam 2024 answer key was released on June 10, 2024. 

Rajasthan Pre PG admit card 2024 released date for Agricultural University, Jodhpur was May 27, 2024. Candidates who registered successfully visited the official website to download the Rajasthan Pre PG 2024 admit card by filling in their login credentials like username/ application no and password. 

The Rajasthan Pre PG 2024 pattern includes 100 questions for each of the four different MSc courses exam in agriculture and allied sciences. In the examination, subject domain questions will be asked for different group courses of Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and Home Science/Community Science (Community & Applied Science) in the format of Multiple choice questions (MCQs). The exam is a paper-pencil-based test of two hours duration.

What is Rajasthan Pre PG Exam?

Rajasthan Pre-PG is an entrance exam conducted to grant admission to the MSc programmes in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Home Science/Community Science and MFSc Fisheries Science offered at the Rajasthan State Agricultural Universities. The Rajasthan Pre PG exam is conducted by one of the participating institutes on a rotational basis. This year, Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University (SKNAU), Jaipur is conducting the exam. Last year, Rajasthan Pre-PG was conducted by Agriculture University (AU), Kota. The participating institutes of Rajasthan Pre-PG are SKNAU Jaipur, AU Kota, AU Jodhpur, Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University (SKRAU) Bikaner and Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) Udaipur.

Rajasthan Pre PG 2024 Admission Process

The admission process for Rajasthan Pre-PG 2024 can be divided into the following stages:

Rajasthan Pre-PG Exam Day Instructions

Here are some important instructions that candidates must follow before appearing for the exam:

  • Candidates must report to the exam centre one hour before the exam schedule, which is 10 am.

  • Candidates must carry their Rajasthan Pre-PG Admit Card along with a photo identity card such as an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID card, Driving License, or Institute Identity Card (attended during 2020-21). Photo identity cards of any coaching institute will not be permissible.

  • Students are advised to use only a black ballpoint pen to mark the answer options in the OMR sheet.

  • Candidates are not allowed to carry books, notebooks, electronic items, jewellery, etc. inside the examination hall.

  • It is advisable for candidates to wear masks in the test centre and carry a transparent water bottle and hand sanitiser (50 ml).

  • Students must take the allotted seat in the examination hall as per the number specified for their roll number. 

  • Before starting the exam, candidates should write their roll number, booklet number and series number and should not write their name or sign anywhere on the OMR sheet.

  • Candidates need to circle the right answer option with the black ballpoint pen evenly across the circle.

  • Usage of an eraser or correcting fluid to cancel an answer will not be allowed.

  • Candidates must ensure that the invigilator has signed on the OMR sheet.

Dress Code

  • Male candidates need to wear half sleeves shirt or t-shirt and female candidates need to wear half sleeves kurta or top and sandals or sleepers as footwear.

  • Wearing shoes, shocks, wristwatches, ear or nose pins, lockets in chains or any kind of ornament will not be allowed during the exam. Wearing of specific dress of any coaching institute should be avoided.

  • No jewellery or ornaments will be allowed to be worn inside the exam centre. Candidates will have to remove those before entering the centre.

Rajasthan Pre PG 2024 Exam Admit Card

Rajasthan Pre-PG Admit Card 2024 was released on the official site. Candidates are required to log in to the official website to access the admit card by filling in their details. The Rajasthan Pre-PG Hall Ticket is a mandatory document that has to be carried on the day of the exam. Candidates are not allowed to enter the exam centre without the admit card. Candidates will also need to carry a photo identity card for verification purposes, along with the Rajasthan Pre-PG 2024 admit card.

Rajasthan Pre PG 2024 Exam Pattern

There would be a separate question paper for each subject of Pre-PG examination. ï‚· The question paper in the form of question booklet will be only in English and consists of 100 Multiple Choice Type Questions. Candidate who wants to give examination for both Pre-PG Agriculture and Pre-PG Horticulture subjects, then he/she must fill separate application form for each Pre-PG Entrance Examination. Also, candidate must ensure his/her eligibility for the examination as per the subject wise eligibility criteria.

Marking scheme: Four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer (Negative marking will be there). If more than one option is chosen, it will be treated as wrong answer. No marks will be awarded or deducted for unmarked/un-attempted questions.

Rajasthan Pre PG 2024 Answer Key & OMR Sheet

Once the exam is over, exam takers can download their OMR sheet and answer keys. Candidates can evaluate their estimated scores by checking the answer keys and comparing those with their responses. As per the given schedule, candidates can challenge or object to any question by submitting INR 500/- towards processing fees per question. The mode of payment is online via Debit/Credit/Net Banking etc. If the challenge is found correct and forfeited if incorrect paid fee will be refunded. However, no challenge will be entertained without receipt of processing fees.

Rajasthan Pre PG 2024 Counselling

The exam authorities will release the seat allotment or admission list. After checking the list, if they are satisfied with the allotment order, have to accept it by paying the admission fee. Otherwise, they have to request re-allotment. There will be three rounds of admission list release and further counselling process will be conducted in case of vacant seats. The reserve seats will be allotted to reserve candidates only based on merit, 200-point roster and candidate choice, if option form of those category candidates is available. Else, the seat will be allotted to reservation category candidate following same pattern of merit, 200-point roster and candidate choice, where from that seat get reserve. If reserved candidate is not available than seat will be allotted to UR candidate.

Rajasthan Pre PG 2024 Application Form

The Rajasthan Pre-PG 2024 application process will be completely online. Candidates must visit the official site and register themselves by filling in the needed information. Once the registration process is done, they need to log in to the official website and complete the process by filling and submitting the application form and paying the application fee of INR 2,800 for General, OBC, MBC and EWS category candidates and for SC, ST and SAP (40 per cent and above disability) candidates there application fee is INR 1,400.

Rajasthan Pre PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for applying for the Rajasthan Pre-PG 2024 exam are as follows:

  • Candidates should secure at least 55 per cent aggregate or equivalent OGPA in the four years undergraduate qualifying degree examinations. A relaxation of five per cent aggregate would be applicable for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/MBC/EWS/SAP categories.

  • Final year bachelor’s degree students are eligible to apply and upon qualifying for the exam, they will be provided provisional admission until they submit the required documents and certificates.

  • Candidates who have completed their UG Degree programme through JET / National level/ State level entrance examination or the candidates who completed their degree programme from SAUs and their constituent colleges of Rajasthan are also eligible.
