A university only to get a degree, nothing else.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed is very low (less than 10%). The highest package offered is around 8 lacs, while the lowest stands around 2–2.5 lacs. average salary is around 3.5–4 lacs. Top recruiting companies are basically new start-ups with reputed companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. Internship opportunities are also not that great, as students have to apply off-campus for them. The roles offered are basically for SDEs, Web developers, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is great, with classrooms well built with smartboards, Wi-Fi facilities, different labs and libraries. Hostels are great too, with average food quality, Wi-Fi and generator facilities. It also has sports equipment.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, excluding one or two who were adamant about their own decisions. They were knowledgeable and well qualified, too. Teaching quality was average. The course curriculum was relevant but it lacks practical knowledge and makes students less prepared for industries. Semester exams were stressful because of their vast syllabus and lack of preparation time. Pass percentage is also not that great.
Other: The course is value for money, as the feels is less as compared to others. It is main reason to choose this course. Other best things includes good campus. It can be improved by providing more assistance to the students. The monopoly of administration should be ended. It has a good campus life with events and festivals like Auskriti, Auslympics, Gamusa, etc. The campus has rich natural beauty.

Well-qualified faculty, relevant curriculum, and strong infrastructure at the University.
Placements: Approximately 30-40% of the students get placed each year across various courses. The highest package offered in 2023 was around INR 12 LPA. The lowest packages was INR 3-4 LPA and the average package was INR 3.5-5 LPA. Top recruiters include Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, ITC Infotech, Future Market Insight, Deloitte, etc. Internships are available for specific percentage of students.
Infrastructure: The university provides campus wi-fi connectivity. There are well-maintained laboratories for various departments. Tye classrooms are designed to facilitate modern teaching methods often equipped with projectors and audio-visual aids. The institution includes many hostels for males and girls. The food quality in the hostel mess and the canteen is typically good.
Faculty: The teachers at the Assam University are generally considered helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Many faculty members have advanced degrees and significant experience in their fields. AUS : In and as a Central University
Placements: The placements are not good as many of us already know. Since it's a tier 3 college and due to it's remote location very few companies visits the campus. But the avg pkg lies between 3-4lpa.you can go to university website and check for more detailed information.
Infrastructure: Altough the infra is not bad but the hostels are not upto the mark. A gentle reminder will be is if you are in your first year, forget about hostel life cuz it's pretty difficult to get hostels as freshers . The no. Of seats are very less. You must need a network for hostel.
Faculty: The curriculum is good. By good I mean it has the same curriculum as NITs. The professors are also highly educated since it is a central university and they must have studied well to get posted as a professor of engg dept. For other departments I've the same expectations but can describe well.

Assam University is a below-average college.
Placements: About 80–90% of students are placed in the CSE and ECE branches of Assam University, Silchar. The highest package secured by a previous batch student was 16 LPA. Notable companies like Amazon, TCS, and Infosys regularly visit our university. Approximately 60–70% of students secure internships, while the remaining ones prepare for the GATE exam.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and bus facilities at my university are excellent. Being a central university, Assam University provides a central library, Wi-Fi, and labs. Hostels are not provided to first-year students. The food offerings are distinct from Northern Indian cuisine. The university also provides proper medical facilities, a canteen, sports games, and an ATM.
Faculty: The quality of teaching is not satisfactory. Students are required to self-read and pass internal exams. Dependency on professors is minimal, and semester exams are conducted strictly. Any attempt at cheating results in immediate removal from the examination hall. Additionally, to pass at Assam University, you need to secure 30 out of 100 marks.
Other: Currently, the placement scenario for CSE branch students is favorable, which influenced my choice of this course. In this field, physical hard work is not as crucial; instead, it requires more mental effort. The university organizes events and fests regularly.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: There were no placements offered, with the lowest package being 1.5 lpa and the highest package being 12 lpa. Recruiters such as Tata Consultancy, Dell, Deloitte, and Infosys were involved in the hiring process. Only 40–50% of students were able to secure average internships and placements, leaving the remaining students unplaced. The majority of students were hired for junior-level positions.
Infrastructure: The campus and departments have reliable Wi-Fi connectivity, although the signal strength is weak. The classrooms resemble those found in government schools, lacking dedicated halls, but they are equipped with digital resources. The library offers a pleasant environment and an extensive collection of books.
Faculty: The teachers provide assistance; however, the curriculum does not effectively address the students' needs. Many teachers lack qualifications, and there is a shortage of teachers in various departments. While the course curriculum is appropriate, its implementation is subpar.
