Placement, infrastructure and facilities are good .
Placements: 100% of the students are placed in IT and core companies. The highest package offered is 30,000/- per month and the lowest package offered is 10,000/- per month depending on the courses. MNCs like TCS,Cognizant and core companies like Mahindra come for placement. Internship depends on the course but mostly will be interned in IT and robotic companies like L&T infotech company . Top roles are offered in TCS, L&T, Cognizant and Accenture.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi has a good speed. Library is neat and clean but books were not available. Hostel, canteen and mess is neat and clean. Food is good. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games are very important for the relaxation of the mind.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They have masters degrees so their teaching quality is great. First the teachers give basic knowledge and teach relevant to the course. Semester exams are not difficult and the pass percentage is 30%-40%.
Other: Events, fests and extra curricular activities are conducted. Connectivity is there in the campus. Scholarships are also given.

It's a good college with friendly and helpful faculty for students who need more practical exposure.
Placements: I am from 2017 to 2021 batch. If you have good CGPA in your academics, you will get good placements in core companies. Otherwise, you will get placed in IT companies. The salary package offered here ranges from 2.15 LPA to 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Automation & Calibration, DCS, etc. Top roles offered in our course are instrumentation process control, etc. Mostly all the students got internships if they seek help from professors.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is very good. The department has process control labs, and the Wi-Fi facility is also good. Classrooms are very good, and the campus is huge, neat and clean. There is a huge library. Our college has one of the best hostels in Chennai, i.e., KBA men's hostel. Food served is not much good, but the hostel rooms are very good.
Faculty: Most of the lecturers here are well-experienced, and they are very friendly. It is a very good syllabus. There are innovation and incubation centres in our college, and teaching is also very good. Our college also provides entrepreneurship programmes. The motto of this college is to create entrepreneurs, so it has innovation and incubation council. They help in startups, and there is also a satellite team called Crescent SAT.
Other: Most of the students don't know about this course very much. I have chosen this course because of my brother suggestion. Future depends on automation, and I think instrumentation plays a major role in this course. A lot of events are organised in our college. Every department organises a lot of events, and many cultural activities are conducted on this campus. The campus has more than 7,000 students.

Review of BS Abdur Rahman Crescent University.
Placements: Almost 85% of the students got placed in the campus placements. Mostly IT companies visit the campus, and it depends on the students how they utilise the opportunities. The highest package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the average package offered was around 2 LPA. The highest package was offered by Infosys. There are a few opportunities of getting the internships. All the placement activities are handled by the members of the placement cell.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent. Canteen, courts, auditorium, labs, ATM, bank, clinic, security, dining halls, staff quarters, mosque, crescent, grounds, and sports equipment for hockey, cricket, football, basketball, tennis are available in the college. The quality of food in the hostel was above average, and biryani provided in the hostel is very good. The hostel rooms are pretty good.
Faculty: The minimum qualification of the faculty members in the college is PhD. When we passed out from the college, the teaching quality is above average. The student to faculty ratio was around 4:1. The industry exposure was good as we visited Hyundai and a few other companies. The course curriculum is useful.

Electronic and instrumentation engineering.
Placements: There is wide range of placement in this department of electronic and instrumentation engineering compared to other department. Placements are based on only aptitude test mark so take care of that mark. CGPA or arrear does not matter in campus interview.
Infrastructure: There is also a good infrastructure compared to many colleges surrounded near. We used to learn many things practically even the staffs are very helpful for final year project arranging internships. It has a high-speed internet throughout the campus. Classroom has projectors. Medical hall is available 24*7.
Faculty: Faculty are nor strict or leeneant they make all the students study well. All the teachers in the college have completed there Ph.D. degree and also have practical knowledge. There is old teaching methods of writing in the board taking note. Assignments etc.

A renowned university of Tamil Nadu.
Placements: The placements of this college were very good, and it was about 90 % i.e almost all the students got placed. The highest package was 6 lakhs per annum and the average was 3.6 lakhs per annum. HCL, TCS, Wipro etc turned up for the placements. Software Engineer, Programme Analyst etc roles were offered to the students. All the students got the internship from the college.
Infrastructure: This campus had all the required facilities available with well-equipped classrooms and labs, and a library with thousand of books written by renowned authors. It also had Wi-Fi connectivity, good quality food in the canteen, a playground etc. All the entertainment options were available. The hostel rooms were large enough to accommodate three persons, with hygienic facilities and both common and attached bathrooms available.
Faculty: The teachers of this university are enriched with knowledge, experience and expertise in both teaching and work experience. They used to give an equal importance to practical knowledge as well as theoretical. The student-faculty ratio was 12: 1, and I got the industry exposure during my internship and workshops arranged by the university.
