Review of Calcutta University.
Placements: Above 60% of the students got placed from our college. The initial salary offered was of Rs. 50,000 per month and the highest salary offered was of more than 1.20 lacs per month. The placements were offered in all the libraries across the country and other reputed libraries across the world. The roles offered were as a librarian and professor. The salary package offered in our course varies from 6 LPA to 12 LPA (approximately). Almost 60% of the students got an internship from reputed libraries.
Infrastructure: No other courses of U. G are running on the campus, but we have the facility to study in the university. It is a huge opportunity. Hostel facilities are quite good. They provide 2 meals per day, and the quality of the food was good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They all have the experience of librarianship. Most of them are passed out from C. U (Calcutta University), and now they were the professor of the department. Our teachers are students friendly. They treat us as their brother and sister. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready.
