Honest review by a 1st-year student.
Placements: Our college provides campus placements and it is too good. The highest salary package offered is 1.2 crore per annum. The average salary package offered is 14.57 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 11.8 LPA. All good companies visit the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: There are rarely any issues raised by hostel coordinator. The only thing is we are restricted from using electronic devices under 200W and mess food is rarely good. But, washrooms are sanitised every day. Infrastructures are well-maintained. There is a huge library where we can get any book. The maintenance of this huge campus is really appreciation.
Other: We enjoyed all three fests hosted by the top three clubs.

Good college in Gahruan Punjab.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. The DCPD department handles the placement cell. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA and the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Microsoft, and Amazon visit the campus for placements. The placement percentage is around 80%-90%.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is good but due to more strength, it does not seem good. All classes have projectors and Wi-Fi along with an air conditioner. There are many food shops, library and one Nivea store in the college too. There are three playgrounds in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very friendly and supportive. Teachers has good qualifications and teaching quality is also good. Teachers teach with PPT and lecture notes. Exams are not so tough, the pass percentage is also good. Curriculum is also up to the mark.

Value for money because it provides you good placement for your journey.
Placements: The placement of our college is good. It gives us the opportunity to show our skills in front of recruiters, which provides value for money, and it gives a lot of companies for your placement time. A lot of people have more than two offers at a time, which is good for students.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good, and their food is good for health. It has a gym area, which is good for students' health, and at exam time, it provides good food. It has its own canteen, which provides good food for students to go and take what they want for their daily use.
Faculty: The course related to the exam is quite easy. You can easily complete it one week before the exam, and the difficulty level of the exam is easy, with direct questions related to your course. The course provided by the college related to your engineering is totally updated. Most colleges do not follow it, but it does.
Other: I have chosen B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering. It provides better opportunities for the growth of their dreams. The way the world is growing and technology is becoming advanced is due to students' smartness.

It offers ample opportunities, but you must have talent to grab it.
Placements: As in our college, around 400 companies visit for the placements and have different criteria for selection. But the average selection rate is about 80%, and the average package is about 8 LPA. The highest packages in our university are about 20-25 LPA, and even the students are getting internships in our college in the 5th semester with a package of 8-10 LPA. The visited companies include Amazon, Microsoft, and Flipkart, and many facilities are there for female candidates too.
Infrastructure: In the field of infrastructure, Chandigarh University provides great infrastructure in terms of maintenance as well as the comfort of individuals. Ducts are available in every classroom, and ACs are available in every lab with Wi-Fi facilities. Students have a great environment for study, as well as a good library with different books and Wi-Fi facilities. Many sports activities, as well as events, are conducted by the university for the growth of the students.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers hired by the university have proper knowledge of the subject they teach, and they are always available for the students. But the only thing that is missing is a major focus on the practical framework, as the curriculum includes more of the theoretical part. Semester exams are not so hard if you study before exams too, as mid-term exams are also conducted, which cover about 67% of the syllabus. The university follows an average grading system, and the grades are decided according to that only.
Other: I chose this course because of my keen interest in coding, and I chose this college because of its infrastructure and better placements. The campus life is quite good in the college, as you never feel bored. Many events are conducted monthly, and it's fun for the students. The campus area is too large for pace and exploration.

Faculty members are good and cooperative.
Placements: Well, I am in the first year, so according to my knowledge, among 70-40 seniors are students placed, so the placement rate is 80%. Top role offers are HR, and 90% of students get placed in this company. The highest package is 50 Lacs and the lowest is 4 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are quite good. There is free Wi-Fi available on campus and in the library. The quality of the girls' hostel is okay as compared to the boys; they offer fewer facilities than the boys. But overall, the full campus university provides good infrastructure.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and cooperative. The course really makes the students industry-ready. There are 2 mid-sems, and the level of these exams is above average. Well, the end-sems are tougher. It makes the students ready for the industry, but it mostly depends on the students.
Other: I chose this course because the university offers quite good placement in this course. I think they could improve the time between prep and the exam session. This university offers really good fests, really exciting and fascinating. This college has enough opportunities and if you have time.
