Chandigarh University's honest review.
Placements: I'm in my 2nd year now so I have not gotten an opportunity to sit for the placements but the placement cell is very responsive and alert for students. We got industrial training after the very first year and this year our college bagged the highest package of Rs 35 lacs from Microsoft. Our college has the highest number of companies visited in a calendar year for placement record.
Infrastructure: Truly speaking, I never got an opportunity to reside in the hostel but my seniors and my relatives told me that the hostel has a very quiet and healthy environment for studies and the warden is also very supportive. The mess provides hygienic food and a very tasty meal frequently, about 5 times daily, including morning tea and evening snacks.
Faculty: As there are thousands of students in my course, the students are divided into 2 blocks, so I'm not sure about the student-to-faculty ratio. Each section is given a mentor to communicate their problems to higher authorities. There are 2 midterm exams of 20 marks and the end semester is of 60 marks. Apart from that, internals for subjects are 40 marks and for hybrid subjects it is 70 marks. The difficulty of exams is moderate and almost 80% of students clear most of the exams, including the end semester.

You should definitely visit the campus; it's great but also crowded.
Placements: Hi, my name is Anuj Kumar. I am doing my B.Tech in Computer Science from Chandigarh University. It is a great college with a huge campus and good hostel facilities. Almost 35% of students were placed in the last session of Computer Science. The average package is about 5 lakh, and the highest package is 55 lakh per annum.
Infrastructure: My course is AI/ML. The teachers are very good and explain concepts in a different manner. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and the labs are also good, with all computers working properly. There is also a physics lab. The hostels are spacious and have a good environment, although not all rooms are in great condition.
Faculty: The teachers at the university are a mix of good and bad. Some teachers are excellent and make it easy for students to understand the material, while others are less effective. The curriculum is good, and the level of the exam papers is moderate; sometimes they are easy, and at other times they are very hard. Overall, the level is somewhat difficult.
Other: I chose this course because there is good scope for the future. The campus is impressive, creating a unique environment that feels like a different world. There are events related to various topics every week.

Not complacent with the placements.
Placements: Only 1-2% of all the students got placed on campus. Placements were very bad during the recently passed-out batch. The highest package was 52 LPA and the lowest was 8 LPA. Top recruiters were Infosys, Google, and Amazon. Students struggle too much to get internships, and only 1% get it.
Infrastructure: B.Tech classes are flooded with students, but classrooms are well-equipped to control them. Wi-Fi facilities are available almost everywhere, including the library, hostels, and study rooms in the hostel. Facilities in the hostel include Wi-Fi and study tables for individual students. Canteens and medical facilities are also available within the campus.
Faculty: No doubt, teachers are highly qualified but not helpful in our B.E. department. The curriculum is relevant, but not every student is able to cope up with it. Semester exams are not so difficult; everyone can pass the exams by studying one day before the exams.

Potential is in yourself.
Placements: There are a lot of companies visiting for both technical and non-technical roles. It’s up to your skills whether you are able to crack the company or not. Companies start the drives a year before your degree ends. If you are a good listener in class, then half your preparation is done.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent; can’t get better. Classrooms are good, seats are comfortable, and the studying environment is pleasant. You can chill as well. Every building has lift facilities, and the washrooms are well cleaned. Lighting is good, and the blocks are air-conditioned.
Faculty: Teachers are slightly on the good side, as most teachers usually are. Most of them are chill and relaxed. You can talk with them like a friend or an elder sibling. Some are rude, but that doesn’t matter if 1 out of 10 is strict; you can keep up with them as well.
Other: Festivals take place, and celebrities are invited. Recently, Tripti Dhimri and Shehnaz Gill visited.

Placements: AIT CSE The top notch department offering specialisation with many real life dynamic courses. SDE the highest package 54.4LPA, Average Package 6LPA, No information on the lowest Package, Top Companies Google, amazon for support role, Tcs, infosys and other service.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure with AC labs equipped with Wi-Fi and, many libraries having large collection of books and daily supply of all journals. Magazines etc. D6 and central library open from 7 am to 10pm Facility in hostel Study room, mess, gym, Open theatre.
Faculty: You can easily get a mentor for your startup or research work easily if you are enthusiastic. Semester exams are easy if you attend vlasses regularly and have clear understanding of topics, exam answers are grade good og good length of answers is there.

Some private colleges which give admission without JEE Main will give you admission simply, but not government colleges.

There are some private colleges which give admission without JEE Main. But, for government college you must qualify JEE Mains or state entrances.
