DU CUET PG exam 2023 for Phase 1 started on June 5. The exam is being conducted in three slots. Slot 1 from 8:30 AM to 10: 30 AM, Slot 2 from 12 Noon to 2: 00 PM and Slot 3 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Shiksha covered the day 1 phase 1 exam at an exam centre in Noida. 

After the third shift of the CUET PG 2023 exam got over on June 7, Shiksha interacted with students at iON Digital Zone, Noida Sector 62 exam centre. Most of the students who appeared for the exam and with whom Shiksha interacted, said that the difficulty level of DU CUET PG exam was moderate to easy. After the shift 1 of the CUET PG 2023 exam got over on June 5, Shiksha interacted with students at an exam centre in Noida. Candidates who appeared for the exam on in morning shift shared their feedback. According to students, the difficulty level of the exam was moderate to easy. Meanwhile for some students, the difficulty level of the exam was difficult. The exam was conducted smoothly and no technical glitch was reported by students at the exam centre.

DU CUET PG 2023 exam was coducted smoothly on day 1 of Phase 1 i.e., on June 5. Shiksha covered the event on June 5 at an exam centre in Noida. DU CUET UG exam 2023 for Phase 1 commenced from May 21. DU CUET exam for the UG courses is being conducted in three slots. DUET 2022 Exam Analysis

DUET 2022 exam started on October 17 and was held till October 21. DUET 2022 is being conducted in three shifts from 8:00 AM to 10 AM, 12:30 Am to 2:30 AM, and 5 PM to 7 PM. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) on behalf of Delhi University. The national-level entrance exam is being conducted for PG and PhD courses and programmes through DUET. Shiksha covered DUET on the first day of the exams to get reactions from students, who appeared for the entrance exam. According to the candidates, they felt that the question paper was moderate to easy and there were no technical glitches during the exam. 

DUET 2022 was conducted amid tight security arrangements and proper safety measures were taken at all centres. The exam started on time and was conducted smoothly.

DU CUET UG 2022 Phase 6 exam ended on August 30. Phase 6 exam commenced on August 24. The first five phases of CUET UG 2022 i.e. Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, Phase 4, and Phase 5 involving about 12.04 lakh were held between July 15 to August 23. The exam was held in two slots. Slot 1 exam timings were 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM while slot 2 exam timings are 3:00 PM to 6:45 PM. Central University Entrance Test (CUET) is conducted for admission to Central Universities of India for admission to undergraduate (UG) courses. Shiksha covered the CUET UG on the day 1 of phase I exam at Greater Noida Institute of Technology, which was conducted on July 15, 2022 at 9:00 am to 12:15 am to get reaction from candidates, who appeared in the exam. DU CUET UG 2022 Exam Analysis (Phase II)

DU CUET UG Phase II was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) staring from August 4, 2022 at different exam centres. Aspirants who appeared for the exam for different papers on day 1 of CUET UG phase II exam shared some details about the exam pattern, types of questions framed in the exam etc with Shiksha. Talking to Shiksha, students said that they faced technical glitches in the exam. Due to the central server issue, the General Test Paper of the candidates got cancelled from NTA's side, which will be conducted again by the exam conducting body. DU CUET UG 2022 Exam Analysis (Phase I)

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted CUET UG exams staring from July 15, 2022 at different exam centres. Students appeared for different papers on day of CUET UG exam. However, students sharing some details about the entrance exam said that the difficulty level of the exam was moderate to easy. Meanwhile, some candidates found the question paper to be difficult, and some students found it tought to complete the question paper on time. Most of the candidates faced technical issues during CUET UG exam. A number of student said that the server was down while some said that their computer got hanged. DUET 2021 Exam Analysis

The exam pattern was well suited for students who were appearing for DUET 2021 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and according to students who attempted the paper, felt that the exam was moderate to difficult. The questions asked in the exam were a bit twisted but all came from the syllabus and what they had learnt in their bachelors. Questions were based on general knowledge, current affairs, world politics, Indian politics, history of politics and much more. Students stated that they completed the paper on time and faced no problems while solving the question paper. However, some students also had problem with negative marking in the exam and some students stated that the paper was a bit lengthy and many questions were out of syllabus. DUET 2020 Exam Analysis

Due to the Coronavirus situation in the country, many students were worried about the safety issue at the exam centre. However, students who appeared for the Delhi University entrance exam, felt that the question paper was moderate to dificult. Many students found the question paper difficult, while some had no issue in time management while solving the question paper. DUET Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

The national-level entrance exam was conducted in online mode i.e. through Computer Based Test (CBT). The computers provided were well sanitized by the NTA officials before the student sat down to give the entrance exam. The exam duration was a total of two hours (120 minutes). The exam format was Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and the exam medium was in English. Here is the exam pattern:

The marking scheme was as such that a total of 100 questions were asked. For each correct answer, the candidate will be rewarded four marks. For each incorrect answer entered in the online OMR sheet, the candidate will be given -1 negative mark. For each answer left unattempted, 0 marks will be given.

What after DUET 2023?

After DUET 2022 exam, candidates will be able to check the DUET Answer Key on the official website of the exam. After the answer key release, candidates will be allowed to challenge the answer key by paying a sum of INR 200 per question. After the answer keys, Delhi University and the NTA have will release the results on the official website in the form of merit list. Candidates who make the merit list, will be intimidated about the counselling session. For some courses, students will be shortlisted and will be intimidated about the online Personal Interview (PI). The counselling session details will be released after the results announcement.

FAQs on DUET Exam Analysis

Q:   Will there be any deduction of marks in case a candidate skips a question in DUET paper?

A:
No, no marks will be deducted for a question that is left unattempted. The candidates can safely skip questions if they do not know the correct answer. Notably, candidates will be awarded 4 (four) marks for each correct answer while one marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. There is negative marking in DUET exam. In order to know about the detailed marking scheme of the DUET exam, candidates need to check the exam pattern and marking scheme given at Shiksha's page or the official website of Delhi University. Notably, DUET is held to provide admission to candidates in Ph.D. courses.

Q:   What is the medium of DUET paper?

A:
The medium of DUET exam is English only. But, the language courses may have an exception. Meanwhile, DU CUET UG 2023 exam will also be held other languages such as Assamese, Bengali, English Gujarati, Hindi Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. However, the selection of medium will be restricted to particular States/UTs. Q:   What is the DUET pattern for B.Tech?

A:
The Delhi University Entrance exam pattern will be in MCQs (multiple-choice questions). There will be four choices for each question in the entrance exam. There is negative marking as well, so students have to be careful and should know which answer they are dotting correctly on the OMR sheet. Also, for every correct answer you will earn 4 marks. Q:   Can a candidate move back and forth between the questions in CUET-PG exam?

A:
Yes, aspirants will have the option to move back and forth or navigate between the questions as per the instructions available on the user interface of candidates computer display screen. Candidates can change even answer options, any-time before they enter submit button. Candidates are suggested to read the instruction properly before answering the question. Candidates can also practice the same through the mock test at NTA official website.

Q:   Will the exam authorities introduce any changes in the pattern of DUET for the upcoming session?

A:
As the official notification and schedule is yet to be released, so as of now, the pattern is expected to remain the same as that of last year. In the previous academic session of DUET the exam was held in LAN Based CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. The DUET exam which is conducted for Ph.D. courses was of total 2 hours. Questions in the DUET exam was mainly objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Candidates were supposed to select an answer from the given four options for the question.

CUET UG 2023 will have the following three Sections: Section IA - 13 Languages Section IB - 20 Languages Section II - 27 Domain specific Subjects Section III - General Test.

Unfortunately no. DUET is Delhi University Entrance Test and DU has discontinued the PG Diploma in Bioinformatics programme in 2023. Therefore, preparing for DUET to get admission to the PG Diploma in Bioinformatics programme will not be helpful.
