Best university for B.Tech course in low fee.
Placements: The placement cell works hard to bring recruiters to campus, but due to its location and limited industry connections, placement opportunities, especially for IT, may not be as abundant as at leading engineering institutes. That said, at least 60% of students were placed, and the average package was 3-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: HNBGU's B.Tech in IT offers a solid educational foundation for students, but the overall exposure, especially in terms of placements and industry connections, may not match the opportunities available in top-tier engineering institutes. Students who are proactive, self-driven, and willing to explore opportunities outside the university can still build a successful career in IT.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and well qualified. They have a lot of knowledge and provide the best teaching quality. The program covers core IT subjects such as programming (C, C++, Java, Python), data structures, algorithms, database management systems, web technologies, software engineering, networking, and cybersecurity. You need a minimum of 35% to pass theexams.

College is very beautiful, the course was good, the faculty was good, but the placement was not.
Placements: Some companies visiting offer a relatively low salary of 2.4 Lacs per annum. You're also considering targeting the GATE exam, possibly because the university environment provides you with enough time to prepare. Preparing for the GATE exam can be a great option, especially if you're aiming to further your education or secure better opportunities in fields like public sector jobs, higher studies, or research roles. Balancing your placement efforts with GATE preparation could open up more opportunities for you in the long run.
Infrastructure: The faculty is good, which is crucial for learning and guidance. The hostel is affordable and provides a good living environment. Satisfied with infrastructure and location, below average placement and faculty.
Placements: The alumni network is strong enough to assist in securing placements, but the placement cell appears uncooperative in helping students get placed. Due to the college's location, companies often do not prefer to visit for recruitment. However, students have ample time to prepare for placements and can secure opportunities through off-campus drives.
Infrastructure: The university receives significant government funding, which is mainly spent on constructing new buildings. This makes the infrastructure a highlight of the campus. High-speed Wi-Fi is available in classrooms and the library. However, hostel facilities are limited, with a capacity of only 150-200 seats for boys, forcing many students to live off-campus.
Faculty: Many faculty members are unavailable for specific subjects, and they often rush to complete the syllabus just before exams. The exams are quite challenging, and students feel that the university is reluctant to provide high SGPA scores.

Review of Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University [HNBGU].
Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA - 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. About 70% of students got internships in government and private companies. Limited roles are offered in our course.
Infrastructure: All students got IDs and passwords for Wi-Fi. We have well-maintained labs in all departments. All classrooms and lecture halls are huge and have whiteboards and projectors. The library has a lot of books. The hostel allotments depend on a merit basis. The hostel facility is good. The quality of the food in the mess and canteen is moderate. Our canteen is pleasant. Medical facilities are available in our college. Our college provides good sports and games.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and helpful. They are doctorates in their subjects. Their teaching methods are average. The semester exams are difficult. The average pass percentage is around 70-80%.
Other: I choose this course because of my interest in it. The campus is very good. The government provides various scholarship schemes.

HNBGU review for admission.
Placements: To be honest, after Covid, the placement cell was closed for a few years, but for the last two years, they have been working hard on it and companies have started visiting our college. I am a 2nd-year student, so I might not have enough information about the placement, but I can say they are putting in hard efforts.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good enough, and the hostels are well-built infrastructure-wise, including water, Wi-Fi, rooms, and sports facilities. However, hostel allocation is decided based on your 12th percentage. Talking about the labs and classes, they are good. Our labs are air-conditioned, which helps us to study even in the summer.
Faculty: All the teachers are cooperative and helpful as long as you are with them. The curriculum is decided by UGC, which is good according to NEP. Semester exams are a bit tough, but if you have studied well enough, you can do well enough to get a good CGPA in the semester.
Other: I chose information technology because of my interest in it, and as for why this college, it must be because of the infrastructure. I think they can improve their placement scenario very soon and their lab work. There are a lot of events organized through the college leadership and the Ananta Fest by engineering students. Overall, the environment here is good.
