Come to IITB to excel in your knowledge and life .
Placements: Almost 100% students got placed. With the highest being around 30 LPA the lowest was around 10 LPA and 14th LPA was the average. Most of the consultancy companies where the high paying one to recruit plus IT companies and few core companies like Reliance Energy and all. Being M.Teach internships are not offered.
Infrastructure: IIT Bombay generally offers modern facilities including fast Wi-Fi modern and well-equipped labs Air conditioned classrooms with proper step seating and projectors and library is the best thing you will SEE here. Hostels are great if you get new ones like H17 H18 they are kind of 5 star rooms but few old hostels are very bad mess food is also great, medical facilities are top notch and free of cost.
Faculty: Faculty members here are the best specifically in terms of knowledge experience and also they are easily accessible if you want any help even at fortnight. Course curriculum is entirely depend on the faculty as autonomy is given to each faculty they can put different weightage to each assignment class test quiz mid sem end sem exam with passing score also dependent on faculty.
Other: Energy is need for the hour and it is a mix of 3 branches chem mech elec. Syllabus is good but somehow it just covers basics. IIT Bombay host the best events every weekend you will have something round the sem different fest continues to happen with mood indigo the best.

I had the best experience, and the college helps you develop your skills.
Placements: Almost every student got a job. The remaining students opted for higher education or startup plans. Basically, whoever registered for placements have got a job, and a few got more than two offers. The highest salary package offered was 25 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was around 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranged from 10 LPA to 12 LPA. Companies like Eaton, ABB, Larsen and Toubro, CYS, TCS, DAR, SRM, etc., visited our campus for placements. Roles offered were mostly engineer, teaching, analyst and finance. For masters students, there was no internship opportunity in IITB. The placement cell was very efficient and useful. They work a lot for inviting companies to the campus.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms and even hostel study areas were equipped with the cutting edge technology. Labs and libraries were of international standards. The canteen served the best food in Mumbai at low prices. Students rather than going out prefer eating in the canteen itself. One more amazing thing is that they provide both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options and are also open at night. For the first year masters students, 2-sharing rooms are provided, and later, separate rooms will be allotted. Rooms were clean and equipped with all the required power and data outlets.
Faculty: Teachers in our college completed masters in their respective fields. Most of them have published a video on NPTL. Most of the subjects have course projects, and even there were open book and open laptop exams. The student to teacher ratio was 1:4 as the strength in masters was less. The college provides industry exposure through course projects. Faculty members organise some industrial visits. The course curriculum was the best because rather than mugging up things, it emphasised on clearing the concepts.
