Placements: The placements from the college went well. This year, around 90% of the student got placed not including the people, who does not appear in the placements. This ratio is the same for the internship. Around 250 companies visited the campus. Most of the companies were offering the job as software. The finance and the trading companies visited the campus. The average stipend can be said around 12 lacs per year, the lowest stipend offer is 6 lacs per year, and there is no limit on the highest offer ...
Placements: The placements have been up to the mark in this year. In the last year, it was quite low. This year, maximum placements took place in the first 2 days. Internship opportunities are very less. Many decent students missed internship opportunities due to lack of visiting companies, or the companies having unfound minimum criteria for selection.
Placements: I will discuss the placements offered to the senior batch students. The average salary offered was around Rs. 12-13 LPA. Approximately 80% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered is usually Rs. 21-24 LPA and the lowest offered to be Rs. 7LPA. Approximately 15-20 students have pre-placement offers from the summer internship processes. The companies visiting the campus are EY, Deloitte, Google, Rockwell, Shell oil, etc. The roles offered to the students were the project manager, bus...
Placements: The roles offered are mainly of software engineer and consultants. There were fewer core jobs offered in the placements last year. The highest salary was 1 crore INR per annum. To my knowledge, the lowest stipend is 5lakhs INR/ annum, but on an average, we can expect a salary of 20lakhs INR/annum.
Placements: The placements were great with 100% of the batch being placed (excluding students who opted out for further studies). The highest package (CTC) for core chemical engineering department was offered by Schlumberger of 30 Lakhs/annum followed by HUL and ITC (22 Lakhs/annum). The lowest was around 4 lakhs for some analytics companies and around 6 lakhs/annum offered by Reliance industries. For FMCG, the roles are in research and development or core manufacturing after a year long training program. O...
Placements: The final and summer placements of the previous batch are completed successfully by the college. The average package offered to the students was Rs. 16 Lacs, whereas the lowest package offered was Rs. 8 Lacs. The students were offered jobs from all domains, but finance and IT were the most dominant ones. The roles offered range from analysts to leadership roles as well as TAS. The summer placements too were very successful as the college was able to place the entire batch despite 100% increase i...
Placements: The placements are at par with some of the new IIMs and with colleges like Narsee Monjee, SIBM but with a smaller batch size, the competition is relatively less for companies like Google, Reckitt Benckiser, HP etc. This year also saw participation from PSUs like HPCL, IOCL and placements are considered good especially in the operations domain.
Placements: Placements for my batch were really bad, due to the political economy prevailing at the time (Trump as POTUS). However, the placements till the previous year were very good, with the highest salary offered being around 40-45 LPA for domestic jobs. The highest paying jobs were in quantitative finance and coding sectors. Lowest salary offered was about 6 LPA, with the mean and median lying around 14 LPA.
Placements: IIT Delhi is one of the best engineering colleges in India, and it is a brand which is known worldwide as well. Hence, as expected the placements are great with both domestic and international offers for students. There are a large number of companies coming for placements and students would be spoilt for choice. The packages range from 4-5 lacs to even 1 crore( international placements ) which gives many opportunities.
Placements: The placements are usually good at DMS and especially this year, the average has risen to about 16 lacs. A variety of profiles are offered by companies like Amazon, Google, Reckitt Benckiser for final placements and several big brands also visit the college for internships. The smaller batch size is also an advantage for students as it means lesser fight for these brands. The college achieves 100% placements every year.
Placements: The placements are good and a variety of profiles are offered to the students. Several big names visit the campus and the average this year was around 16 lacs. The batch size is small which means lesser competition for some of the top companies and you get more chances to land in the company of your choice. The location of the college is definitely an advantage for placements as a lot of the industry is located in NCR.
Placements: The placements are really good at DMS, and it attracts a lot of big names from the industry while some companies offering in excess of 20 lakhs per annum. The batch size is small so there is lesser competition as compared to some of the other top B-schools of the country and the average this year was around 16 LPA which is great for the ROI as the fees are lesser as compared to other B-schools.
Placements: Over 270 companies visited the campus. Companies offered profiles in various sectors like consulting, finance, coding, operations and some core profiles too. The placement of our senior batch was pretty decent. The highest package being somewhere around 20 LPA and average around 6 LPA. As far as internships are concerned, the department emphasises on core internships and does not support non-core activities just as much and the prospect of securing an internship on campus isn't bright. Althoug...
Placements: Well, you can easily find out the stats in the news or reports. Usually, the CS students have a better percentage of placed students but other branch students too, who have decent knowledge of programming skills, have decent chances. Not just that anything that sets you apart from others is a decent highlighter in your CV. The highest goes to a crore plus and the lowest is 3 LPA. Core roles are difficult to come by and much more difficult to get selected.
Placements: Well, since I'm in my third year, I can't say anything about my placements but my senior batch was not in a good condition this year as compared to their senior batch members. The total number of offers that were given were less than 50% of that of the previous year. The highest salary was a crore plus and no idea about the least. There were many different roles that were offered but as always, the core engineering roles are comparatively less.
Placements: Placement is awesome. Our placement season starts from 1 December and approximately more than 80% students get placed in the first week. Placement package varies from department to department like for CS, the highest goes to 1.30 crore given by Samsung, Korea whereas for mathematics and computing students it goes as high as 40 lakhs given by Word Quant. The average package for CS and mathematics and computing is approximately 18 and 15 lakhs and the lowest goes till 6 lakhs. IIT Delhi placemen...
Placements: Placement quality is said to be increasing each year with increased packages and more number of companies visiting the campus. About 80% of the students in a batch get placed. Rest 20% also include people who voluntarily skipped placements due to higher studies, startup and other reasons. The highest packages go around 1-1.5 crore/year and the lowest to 4-5 lakh/ year. Companies ranging from Google, Yahoo, Bain, BCG, Blackrock, DB, Fin Mechanics, Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance, ICICI and about 130 ...
Placements: As expected, it provides 100% placement. The placement process is well planned, but only fairly decent in execution, mainly because of the extremely slow web portal. The internship process is similar to the placement process but involves much less hassles (a lot less).
IIT Delhi is one of the best engineering colleges in India. The students get a lot of opportunities both in academics and in extracurricular activities. The faculty members here are very well-qualified and have a lot of teaching experience. And the infrastructure is also one of the best keeping in mind the newly built Lecture Hall Complex here.
IIT Delhi, one of the top 100 colleges of the world and top institution of India, where everyone dream to get into but only a few get opportunities to study here. But it does not end only by the getting entry here, one has to compete here with the country best talent and it also give one's opportunity to expand their limit of creativity and thinking not only in study but also in all activities including sports, arts, music etc. with each having separate club and organization in IIT Delhi. Life d...
