IIT Delhi: The average college in India.

Placements: IIT Delhi has a strong placement record for Textile Engineering students. About 80% of students secure jobs through campus placements. The placement cell works with top recruiters to provide students with valuable preparation resources and support.

All about IIT Delhi electrical branch.

Placements: As you know, IIT is known for their packages in reputed companies, as I am in the electrical branch, so the lowest package is around 15 lakhs and the highest goes up to 1 crore and above; the average is around 22 lakhs. Most of the students get internships from my course.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the course curriculum of mathematics and computing department at IIT D.

Placements: The highest package would be around 2 CR, which is PPO. And the lowest, I would say, CTC is 8 lpa. I'm in the mathematics and computing branch at IIT Delhi, so I would say that till the 4th day, almost 50% were placed and till the 10th, 75%. As per the recession, it's quite okay for me. But in normal situations, it could have been way better. Top companies like Graviton, NVidia, Google, Microsoft and many more. The top two roles were software and data analysts.

IIT Delhi is a nice college. My advice will be not to take mathematics and computing.

Placements: I think 80% of the batches were placed during the first phase. The highest package offer in MNC is INR 75 lacs; the lowest can go below INR 5–9 lacs pa too; and the average package is around INR 10–12 lacs pa. The top recruiting companies are Gravity, Sprinkler, and World Quant. I think 95% students got internships by the end of phase 2. Roles offered are SDE, finance, HFT, and consulting.

If you get a CS or electrical branch, then you can join here. Else I suggest not to join here.

Placements: Only the top 20 students out of 115 got placed. The highest salary package offered is around 25 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are IOCL, HPCL, NTPC, etc. Almost 10% of the students got internships. Overall, our college has very poor placement scenario.

IIT Delhi- Not as Great a Story.

Placements: IIT Delhi, being one of the premier institutes for technology has a great placement record. There are a lot of opportunities for its students in various sectors such as Government PSUs, Private MNCs (both Domestic and Foreign). Many students of the chemical engineering are placed in great Oil companies across the globe. Although there is a high degree of competition amongst the students to get into these reputed companies and get a job of his/her liking.

The curriculum is very ancient and has not been modified even once in the last decade. The college infrastructure and facilities are very bad. Most of the professors are frustrated with their lives and take it out on the students. The only good thing about IIT Delhi is the brand name.

Study hard and that depends on how you make that great.

Placements: More than 75% of students got placed in my branch. Around 15% of students got internships in companies like Google, Amazon, and many other known companies.
