Honest Review of JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA Faridabad.
Placements: A minimum of 7 CGPA to 8 CGPA is required to set up placement; the highest and lowest salary packages for my course vary from 6 LPA to 15 LPA. The top recruitment companies for my course are Samsung, Wipro, Infosys, etc. 70% of students in my course get good placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my university is quite good for me. The labs are good and sufficient for experiments. Wi-Fi facilities are very good in our college. Wi-Fi is not working properly. Class is good, but not clean every day. The library is good at our college. Good hostel for girls. At present, there is no hostel available for students. Sports facilities are good for some games like kabaddi, badminton, volleyball, TT, etc. Not for all games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well qualified from a good university; some teachers have done Masters from our college. In the first year, all students study the same subject that is not related to placements. But in the 2nd and 3rd years, multiple subjects are available, making students ready for industry.
Other: I chose this branch, which is electronic and computer engineering. The main benefit of this course is that I can learn both electronic as well as computer-related things and be eligible for both types of companies. No fest organic from the last 4 years. Campus crowds are high. Good connectivity for metro, auto, and the best university located on the main highway, Delhi Mahathrara Road. Scholarships are provided to only SC, ST, and OBC students.

The college guarantees 100% placements for CSE and IT students.
Placements: In my course of B.Tech electronics instrumentation and control engineering, 26 students out of a class of 75 got placed. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, with a 4-year bond by St. Microelectronics. The average package offered was 3.4 LPA by Havells. The lowest package offered was 25,000 per month by TCS. The top recruiting companies for EIC were Dabur, Havels, STM, TCS, Samsung, and Microchip. Very few, 4-5 students, out of 75 got internships in VHDL related companies, Dabur, STM etc. EIC is the branch available only in 4-5 colleges in the whole India. PLC, non-linear control systems, and robotics lab are the main advantages of this branch in the college. Very good teachers are available, and they will provide good knowledge.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is slow, and you can't use it during college hours. You have to verify your mobile or laptop to use this service. The library is good with digital access but not suitable for the whole college as the space is compact. The hostel is the worst, and the building is very damaged. Many students got injured in my batch, and even the staff don't have a quarter at that time in good condition. Now, a new residence building is built for staff, but the hostel is still in bad condition.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful and good. Most of the teachers are post-graduates. Some teachers are rude, but most of them are very kind. Students are not industry-ready, and they have to learn some separate courses to make themselves suitable for the industries like VHDL, PLC, SCADA, PCB design etc.
Other: I took admission in TFW because the fee is only 5,000 per semester. Courses related to industry must be included. The fest is good. The college is near Escort metro station, just 100 meters away from Mathura Vrindavan Road.

Placement facilities of our college are very good.
Placements: As I heard, in the previous year, there was a good scope of placements for B.Tech students, and the college well-prepared students for facing various interviews. The college in the COVID19 period is also looking to provide internships and training programme for the students.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. There is a good canteen, and the food in the mess is also of good quality. Sports and games activities are very good at our college. The college has a hostel and Wi-Fi, and the library of our college is very good.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very productive and well-experienced. They give us better teaching and a good knowledge of the industrial area. Course and content provided to us are relevant, and they also prepared us to be industry-ready.

Overall, UST has good faculty, placements, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: YMCA is famous, especially for its placements. Computer science and information technology branches have amazing placement opportunities. The highest package offered was 27 LPA by Amazon. A lot of companies visit the college for placements every year. Maruti Suzuki, Hero, Yamaha, Escorts, Daikin Air-conditioners, Danfoss, Samsung, United Health Group, TCS, Adobe, and Jindal Steels are the regular recruiters.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of UST is satisfactory, but the university is undergoing some construction. The computer science department is very good. Buildings are luxurious from inside.
Faculty: Faculty members in the university are good and supportive to students. Many of the teachers are PhD holders in their fields. Both the board and projector are used for teaching. Most of the classrooms are equipped with a projector. The faculty to student ratio is 1:10.
Other: The university has many clubs like Vivekananda, Srizan, Matraka and many others to conduct both technical and cultural events.

Perfect platform for dreams
Placements: Placements are really good..every single student of our class get placement..Lot of companies(samsung adobe sapient etc) on every second day of week for college placements there is huge opportunities to get placed from college. You can easily grab opportunities if you have a little knowledge of you subject. Class head Teachers and TPO plays a vital role in inviting companies for the placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college was very suitable for education. Even hostels has improved day by day. In short we can say in small area we get various facilities Even i too get an opportunity to set in interviews and placements. Most of the student from our department get selected in MNC and i think this is enough to rate the placements of a particular college or university if 90%of students get placed from a batch
Faculty: Faculty is very mUch dedicated to each student. They help in improving the score of every batch by providing extra classes and you can go to teachers even personally they are really helpful. Course are according to you qualification you can get admission in master degree bachelor degree mba mca btech.. Scope of computer engineering and IT is really good.

B.Tech first year students are not eligible for appearing in LEET. Eligibility criteria for appearing in LEET is Diploma in Engineering from a recognized polytechnic or B.Sc PCM from a recognized university. You are already an engineering student, why do you want to appear in LEET.
