Reflection because college is giving me all the good and bad thing that which are reflection on me.
Placements: The percentage of students who were placed in my course is around 70-80%. The highest and lowest average packages offered are in the highest, about 12LPA, and the lowest, about 3LPA, and the average is about 5.5LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, HCL, IBM, Tata consultancy companies, and more. Overall, approximately 70% of students get internships. The top roles offered in my course are artificial intelligence and machines learning engineer data scientist data analyst business analyst auto engineer research scientist, and more.
Infrastructure: The campus is occupied with Wi-Fi connectivity accessible in classrooms and libraries to support students for academic and research purposes. There are computing labs and modern hardware and MATLAB python for coding needs and are much better for artificial intelligence and data Science students. And about classrooms smart classrooms with projectors are for interactive learning. Spacious and well-lit seating arrangements for accommodation for students comfortable. And about library houses full of collections of books journals resources are there and have a digital library too. About hostel there have separate hostel for boys and girls the room provides 3 beds.
Faculty: The teaching faculty members are highly qualified experienced and approachable they are well versed in their subjects and encourage students to participate in the research and projects the teaching quality is excellent with a good balance between theoretical and practical knowledge. The curriculum is up to date with the latest advancements in technology particularly for au students it includes hands-on trading and internships or opportunities and innovation which helps the students for their real-world challenges. Semester exams are moderately challenging but manageable with consistent efforts.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028
Offered by Government Engineering College, Kozhikode
3.4

Government engineering college Kozhikode.
Placements: In our batch of 77 students, the placement rate is quite high. Many students found jobs in top companies. The highest package offered can vary depending on the course, but it can be as high as Rs 10-12 LPA. The average package is usually around Rs 4-5 LPA, and the lowest package is typically around Rs 3 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies for engineering graduates in Kerala include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, L&T, and Cognizant. Many students also get internships at these and other top companies. The top roles offered are civil engineer and mechanical engineer.
Infrastructure: The Government Engineering College Kozhikode has good infrastructure for students. It has smart classrooms, quite big classrooms, and many labs and libraries. The college hostel is for ladies only. There is no men's hostel, but there are private hostels nearby.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly. They are well qualified and knowledgeable, and they make sure that the classes are not boring. They are always willing to explain concepts that we don't understand. The curriculum is good, but mechanical engineering students need to refer to outside sources to be industry-ready.

A review of Mar Athanasius College of Engineering.
Placements: My batch is good, but there has been a gradual decrease in placements since I joined this college. Top recruiting companies like Bosch, Ascender, etc. offer at least 5-8 LPA based on the student's skills. However, I must say that the placements are just okay.
Infrastructure: The quality is just okay for the hostel and faculty members. There are other colleges that provide better infrastructure and hostel facilities. However, the faculty members are highly talented. In these circumstances, I would not recommend anyone join this college. Nevertheless, the college is one of the best colleges in Kerala.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and talented, having graduated from top colleges like IITs and NITs. They also teach the curriculum relevantly and make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are good, and the pass percentage is also satisfactory.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027
Offered by College of Engineering, Trivandrum
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Great college life with not so great academics.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students get placed and the rest go for further studies or don't get placed on campus. The highest package was around 39 LPA which my senior got on campus and the lowest would be maybe 4-5 LPA I guess. Texas is the top recruiter for our department.
Infrastructure: The quality of facilities and infrastructure is like any government college, nothing to hype about. Wi-Fi is slow and classrooms are okay I would say. Not the best but not the worst also. I don't live in the college hostel. I stay outside as a paying guest but as far as I have heard from the college inmates, the rooms are decent and the food is better than any other outside hostel.
Faculty: Some teachers are good. Some are not that good also just like any school or college but some are really wonderful and helpful. All the teachers are highly qualified but all of them know how to teach properly I would say (not someone to judge but that's what I would say from a student's perspective). Course curriculum is relevant but the time allotted for one semester is very low around 3-3.5 months which I don't find very tough but I hear many of my college mates complaining about it.
Other: To be honest, everyone was taking engineering and maybe that's why even I took it. Or maybe I didn't have much idea about my own interests which led me to engineering but after 1.5 years of engineering I am slightly getting an idea of what I want to do in life so probably after 4 years of B.Tech even if I don't know what I want in life, I'll definitely know what I don't want in life (that is engineering?).

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026
Offered by Government Engineering College, Sreekrishnapuram
2.4
2Placements2Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
The overall experience in the college is fine, but the academic pressure is a bit much.
Placements: Placements are rather low compared to other colleges. The highest package is 12 lakhs per annum, the lowest is 80,000 per annum, and the average package is 3.5 to 5 lakhs per annum. Top roles are Java developer, MERN stack developer, etc. The number of placements changes from year to year.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are rather friendly and understanding. They also teach with their utmost effort. There is Wi-Fi on campus, but it is rather slow. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and black and white boards. There is a library for each department. There is a common central library used by everyone. The food available in the college hostel is neat and healthy. The mess and canteen are also kept neat, but there is no medical facility in the college, the hostel, or nearby. They provide sports and games in the hostel for the students to enjoy, like carrom, badminton, etc.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, and they give moderate to high teaching quality. The course curriculum isn't relevant and doesn't make students industry-ready as it is mostly focused on one's memory power. The exams are rather difficult due to a lack of study materials or sources from which you can study. Also, all the assignments and record work are given to the students for completion at the last moment during the start of exams, so there is a lack of time. Also, the study gap between exams is very short. The pass percentage is 40.
Other: I chose this course due to a love of engineering. The best thing about the course is that it helps me to be helpful to society by bringing more innovation. I would increase the number of practicals and reduce the theory as they test only the memory power of the children rather than their skill, which doesn't get them industry-ready. There are good technical events held in the college by the students, and most of them are outstanding. Campus surroundings are filled with trees for fresh air, and there are plenty of places to relax or study.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026
Offered by Sree Buddha College of Engineering (SBCE)
2.6
2Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
If you are looking for better academic and resources the college is nice.
Placements: Placements of this college is comparable poorer than other colleges. Around 20% of students were placed. Placements training are provided even though most of the students lack this opportunity. The highest salary offered is 15 Lacs per annum and the lowest salary is around 2.5 Lacs. Companies like wipro, TCS and infosys were the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: Overall infrastructure of this college is average. A good library with a large collection of books of different types. The labs are well-equipped for practical. There is high-speed Wi-Fi inside the college. Medical facilities are also there in each block. Facilities in hostel are poorer. Food is also bad in hostel mess but food provided from canteen is pretty good. The college supports sports like kabbadi etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and supportive. They are always available for students. They are so friendly with students. Course curriculum is relevant. Series exams are conducted regularly. Semester exams are tough it is difficult for scoring good marks. College is now turning to be autonomous.
Other: I'm currently pursuing B.Tech in CSE with ai and ml. This course was not everywhere in Kerala. So I chose this college. There are no other events conducted. We cannot enjoy the moments in college life.
