Good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are good. The percentage of students placed who opted for placement is more than 90% in continuation. Most of the students are placed in IT sector. There are very few companies for the core branches, mostly are IT, HR, sales and marketing jobs. Package offered is very good, keeping in mind the current scenario.

Infrastructure: Course infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is freely available throughout the campus. They have good labs. You can visit the central instrumentation facility. Some of the world class lab equipments like FESEM are present in the college. Hostel is good and mess food is bearable or else you have many options for eating outside the mess. The campus has its own hospital with ambulance facility and its own pathology lab.

Faculty: Faculty are helpful and very cooperative. The exams are not too hard. It is easy to maintain a pretty decent CGPA throughout the course. The environment is competitive and most important part of the course is that it is research oriented from the very first semester. Students are encouraged to do creative writing and publish a paper.

Other: LPU offers good scholarships to almost every deserving student. They have excellent infrastructure, wide campus, good library, computer and research labs. The three main features of School of Biotechnology and Biosciences, LPU which I personally adore are: For research focused students, it offers highly research focused environment with easy accessibility to faculties and mentors. For job-oriented students, they have excellent placement cell and coordinators. They also offer free preparatory classes for various competitive exams like GATE, NET, etc.
