Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and it has a good placement ratio.
Placements: About 60% to 75% of students were placed. The highest package was 12 lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 5 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies were IndusInd Bank, the Air Force, Tata, and Daikin. At least 50% got placed at IndusInd Bank, Tata, and Mercedes. Top roles were assistant maintenance inspector or in the quality check department.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi all over campus, labs for each subject, top-notch classrooms with smart boards, and a four-level library with books from around the world. I wasn't in the hostel, so I can't comment on that, but the canteen in the college was good and cheap.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and mostly have Ph.D.s. The teaching quality was also good; they ensured that each student was supported. The course was perfectly aligned with the curriculum, and they gave us one month of industry experience through a national tour. The semester exams are manageable for students who study, and 85% of students pass.
Other: There are lots of clubs and events in the college.

It's a good college if you want to get involved in extracurricular activities with studies .
Placements: About 70% to 80% of students get placed, with an average annual package of 5 to 6 lacs. However, a master's degree offers more scope for higher packages, and good companies come to recruit students. The faculty also help with placements.
Infrastructure: The hostel has 4 star facilities and is a little expensive, but it has everything, like washing machines and refrigerators. Rooms are double- or triple-sharing. The food quality has improved from earlier and now includes a variety of food for dinner and breakfast.
Faculty: The faculty are helpful and cooperative. It is important to maintain attendance from the beginning, as the college is very strict about it. The faculty also help students improve their skills. The course is not very difficult if you study hard.

Good infrastructure, average placement and high fees.
Placements: I was placed at Infosys with a package of 7.5 lacs. The highest package was 50 lacs. TCS also recruited students from my college. About 60% of the students got internships, and some students even got a chance to study abroad for a few days.
Infrastructure: There were no sports facilities on campus and no wifi for students. The campus has a very big ground, but it is only used for events. The campus has many trees and is not that big, but it is ok. There is an interdepartmental sports competition each year, and there is an esports club too.
Faculty: The teachers are good and they make sure that the students are industry ready. The semester exams are not that difficult, and the lab and tutorials are also not that difficult. If we attend all the lectures, the teachers will give us full marks. There is an 80% attendance criterion for the exams.
Other: I chose this college because I had an interest in coding. The college offers a variety of events throughout the year, which helps keep things interesting.

Review of MIT-WPU till 2nd year of college.
Placements: MIT-WPU has a decent placement, but it can vary depending on course. Some courses have very low placement whereas some have a good one, overall it is an average. Departments like engineering have good placements. As far as I know, students secured jobs in companies like TCS, Amazon, Deloitte, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of MIT-WPU is fascinating amongst any other college in Pune. It has a good campus, surrounded by trees and plants, creating a good environment. A major attraction of the MIT campus is the observatory at the top of the hill, the view from the top of the hill is very fascinating.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, but some are annoying, However, atmosphere in our course, B.Sc. Physics is truly great in comparison. From what I've heard, the environment in other departments, like Electrical Engineering, is not as good. Overall, it is okay.

My opinion about the department of Physics as a second-year student.
Placements: Students in our college usually opt for higher studies. Our course was recently started. There are no records of placements so far. But there are lots of internships and opportunities to work with professors on projects. Common positions include research assistants, assistant professors, and quality control analysts. So far, the course is worth it.
Infrastructure: Our department is new, hence all amenities are in good condition. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, and labs are fully functioning. Canteen food is average. The Department of Physics has several sports tournaments, and anyone interested in sports is encouraged to participate.
Faculty: Professors are friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. We can easily approach them with our academic and personal issues, and we always get helpful feedback. Teaching techniques are more understanding-based. The exams are a little difficult to deal with but with proper guidance, they can be managed.
Other: I have a major interest in Physics and the course is worth the money. College life is great and we get to meet a lot of fun people.

It's all about how much efforts you take. But the issue can be attendance as it's 80% compulsory.
Placements: The average package is 6-7 lacs, but the best package is 50 lacs. To get the best package, you need to be recommended by a university professor and the recruitment team. However, the guy who got the best package said he got it through an off-campus placement.
Infrastructure: The management of the college and hostels is really bad. The only thing people like about this college is the beauty of the campus. It is indeed beautiful, and there is a nice café called Encave with three branches throughout the college, one main canteen, and one in the computer science building.
Faculty: The teachers are nice and provide study material, but don't expect too much from them. We are in college, so our saviour is going to be YouTube videos and friends who send us past questions at the last minute. We will get used to it and will eventually do well.
Other: The college crowd and campus are very aesthetically pleasing. You can probably guess that the students are GenZ, and you'll have to experience their traits. But you'll also find your own good people of your choice and liking. In the end, it's all luck and destiny.

Q:   What is the difference between CAT score and CAT percentile?

A:

CAT score is the total marks a candidate receives out of the maximum marks, calculated by subtracting the marks of incorrect answers from the marks of correct answers. For every correct answer, +3 is given to the candidates, for every incorrect -1 is deducted from the overall score. Apart from this, a candidate's rank is calculated by normalizing the scores of all candidates and placing them on a common scale based on the difficulty and attempts of the candidates. It is important to understand the difference between CAT score and CAT percentile because IIMs and all MBA colleges in India select candidates on the basis of their CAT and other MBA related exam percentiles and not score.

The CAT percentile is referred to as the rank of a candidate against the rest of the test takers. The percentile indicates the total percentage of candidates who scored less than or equal to a particular candidate in CAT.

Suppose,1,000 people take an exam and you bag the top rank, which means 999 candidates scored less than you. Then your CAT percentile will be 999/1000*100 = 99.9.
