Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in mechanical engineering at MNNIT, Allahabad. The highest salary package offered is 64 crore per annum, in 2025. Top recruiting companies are TVS, Oracle, Big Basket, Zomato, etc. Top roles offered in our courses are power plant engineer and designer.

Infrastructure: In our hostel, there is a Wi-Fi network and Wi-Fi labs, air-conditioned classrooms, good library, playground, gym and auditorium in our college. The quality of the food is good in mess and canteen. There is a personal hospital, and there are many sports clubs and committees.

Faculty: Teachers are highly educated who done Ph.D. from IITs and foreign universities. Course curriculum is good. Semester exams have very high standards according to engineering students, and a very good quality of education is provided.

Other: Supportive seniors and facilities available create a good environment for creative technologies and startups. There are many events organized by colleges and students.

It has very good infrastructure and facilities, and the college campus is the best.

Placements: In our college, near about 91 percent of students are placed in the mechanical engineering course. The highest package is around 55 Lakh, and the lowest is 13 Lakh. For our course, many companies come like Amazon and Yahoo. I think 92 percent of students got internships this year.

Infrastructure: College facilities and infrastructure are very good here. In our course, the mathematics faculty is the best here. There is an extraordinary library. Also, there is a very good hostel for the students, and in the hostel, good food quality is provided for the students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is the best. Yes, the course curriculum is almost relevant, making students ready for the industry. The end-semester exams in our college are a little bit tough, but the pass percentage is good.

Other: I chose this course because being a mechanical engineer is my passion. I want to know about the machines.

Review of the College Suryabhan Singh

Placements: Very superb percent of students are placed in this course, more than 60% in this course. The highest and the lowest package offered to my course is between 18 Lacs to 3 Lacs per year. Top companies in my course students in college for an internship, companies like different government sectors.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available for students present in this course. Classrooms, libraries, as well as Wi-Fi, are available in this college. The quality of the canteen is very bad; the food is not good but has taste. Medical is present. Sports and games are available.

Faculty: The teachers in this course were so helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They had great teaching quality. This course curriculum is relevant, and students are industry-ready. The semester exam in this course is so easy; therefore, the pass percentage is 60% in the Mechanical course.

Other: I chose this course to learn mechanical knowledge; nothing needs to improve. Scholarships are present in my course.

MNNIT Allahabad by MNNITian.

Placements: Placements at MNIT Allahabad are good compared to other NITs. The average salary package of mechanical branch in MNNIT Allahabad is around 11 LPA. Students who get on-campus internships are low. But placement in the core is decent. Many companies offer placement in tech and also for mechanical branches.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent, but not very good if we compare it to some other big NITs. All facilities are provided in lab and proper infrastructure is available for library and separate departments are also there. All departments except CSE are in the same building. Hostel for the first year is nice.

Faculty: Faculty members are nice but I think there should be some more new young professors there who understand the problem of the new generation and work accordingly. Two times exams are conducted per semester. Mid sem which is approximately 20 marks and end sem which is approximately 40 marks.

Other: Annually the tech fest Avishkar and cultural fest Culrav are organised in college. Many clubs and committees are there in college.

Best NIT in terms of placement.

Placements: Around 95% students are placed in my course. The highest package offered was Rs 55 Lacs, the lowest was Rs 7 Lacs, and the average around Rs 12 Lacs. Top recruiting companies for my course are Bajaj, Maruti Suzuki. Only 1 student got an internship from my course till now in Bajaj. Roles offered are graduate trainee.

Infrastructure: All labs have good facilities, some classrooms have ACs while some don't. Wi-Fi is available in academic buildings as well as hostels. The library has a good connection of Wi-Fi. Also, the library has a good collection of books and journals. In hostels, there is Wi-Fi availability, also LAN connection is provided in every room. The quality of mess food is below average. No non-veg food is served. The canteen has all the accessories to buy. A medical health center is on the campus as medical facilities. Inter-NITs are held for sports.

Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, while some are not. All are qualified till Ph.D. and all of them have good knowledge in their own subjects. Teaching is not done properly. All professors are in a hurry to complete the syllabus. The course is relevant since it provides huge knowledge which is required by the industry. So yes, it makes students industry-ready. The difficulty levels of semester exams are above average. The pass percentage is somehow good.

Other: I chose this course since I want to be a mechanical engineer. The best things about my course is, I can SEE how all things work and can make changes if necessary. The things I wish to improve in my course is, instead of rote learning, students should be given practical-based learning. Cultural and technical fests are held together. My college is around 7 km from Prayagraj Jn, and is easily connected to the airport also.

Everything depends on category, and the cutoff which varies from year to year. For general category, 15k rank may be the last at which you can get admission in MNNIT. For mechanical engineering, it can be 7k approx
