It is an amazing college for B.Tech courses, and placements are very good.

Placements: About 90% of the students got placed. The minimum salary package offered is 7.5 LPA. Amazon, Flipkart, Capgemini, Microsoft, Tata Steel, Tata Power, CESE and many other companies visit every year. Many internship companies come to this college. Top roles include software engineers and electrical engineers.

Our college is medium level. Campus is neat and clean.

Placements: 72 per cent placed in our course. The highest package is Rs 42 LPA. The lowest package is Rs 5 LPA. Average package Rs 8 LPA. Top Recruiting company Qualcomm and Amazon. 40% got internships from our college at Microsoft, Amazon, wells Fargo, Qualcomm. The top role offered in our college is software development engineer.

Overall, NIT, Durgapur is awesome for both placements as well as research work.

Placements: This year, i.e., 2020-21, though in the pandemic, the highest package offered was 44 LPA by Microsoft. Many other eminent companies visit our college for placements, like Amazon, JPMC, Wells Fargo, Tata Motors, Tata Power, L&T Power and Construction, Aditya Birla, Qualcomm, Reliance and many more.

It offers really good campus life and infrastructure.

Placements: Approximately 82% of students got placed in chemical engineering in 2020. In terms of placements, the chemistry branch comes after CSE. The highest, lowest and average packages offered are 16, 4.2 and 7.52 LPA, respectively. Students got placed in major recruiters like Wipro, Jio, Accenture, Tata Consultancy Services, Hero Motocorp and Reliance Industries. Approximately 30-40% of students got internships in various companies from chemical engineering.

It has good infrastructure, great Wi-Fi. You won't regret college life here.

Placements: Around 80 - 90% of the students get placed in college. The highest salary package offered varies from 30-40 LPA. The lowest salary package ranges between 3-4 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 10-12 LPA. Adobe, Amazon, Microsoft, Wells Fargo are some of the companies giving high salary packages. I am dissatisfied with the placement percentage and food quality.

Placements: More than 60% of the student were placed in the previous year from the metallurgy department. The highest salary package offered in Metallurgy is 10-12 LPA and the lowest is 5-6LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata Steel, JSW, Vedanta, and many more. Almost 20% of the students got internships. Senior engineer post and manager post were offered for this course.

It is a decent college for biotechnology, but I suggest you do not think that you will get placed.

Placements: Only 10% of students from the biotechnology department got placements. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA in the bank. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and it was provided by the mass recruiter. Most of the students opted for higher education in India or abroad or opted to prepare for government jobs.

Our college provided good placements in 2020, good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements in our department are not better as compared to CSE. About 70-80% of the students from our course got placed. In that 20-30% of students got IT placement, and remaining students got not IT and core type placements. The highest salary package offered ranges between 11-13 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 5-6 LPA. It is a good institute to spend 4 years of your life.

Placements: The overall placement rate was 71.92% here, with the highest salary package of 33 LPA and the average salary package of 9.09 LPA. Renowned companies like Qualcomm, PwC, Cognizant, Capgemini, JCB, Infosys, ZS Associates, Samsung and Alstom recruited students from here. Most of the students bagged good internships. It has really good infrastructure and facilities, and average placements.

Placements: Overall, the placement percentage is 75-77%. The highest placement rate is of CSE, which is 87-90%, followed by IT and ECE branches with 80%-85%. Among the core branches, the placements are above average for ME, and the rate is 75%. The placement rate of other departments like EE is 70-75%, CE is 50-55%, CHE is 60-65%, MME is 55-60%, and Biotech is 40-45%. IT companies, consulting firms, core industrial companies and many government organisations visit the campus for hiring.

NITDGP has one of the best faculty for mathematics.

Placements: M.Sc is a research-orientated course, so most of the students who took admission in M.Sc. want to go for further studies like PhDs in their field. Most of the students go for PhD, but a few students opt for campus placements. So, they work on their coding and programming skills to get placed. If you want to get placed, then you will have to study programming languages and coding very well. Overall, many reputed companies like Amazon, Flipkart, HCL, TCS, Paytm, etc., visit the campus every year.

Placements: The placements are average in NITDGP. Core departments have a poor chance of getting placed. As per 2020 UG records, approximately 88% of students got placed from the computer science department, while the record was approximately 40% for civil engineering department. Moreover, the internships are not as satisfactory as they should be.

College is overall cool. I like it's building and structure. It's location is also good.

NIT Durgapur is the best college in West Bengal.

Placements: In the first two semesters, all the students of different branches have common classes. Due to online classes, all the things are hampered, and it's very hard to understand. According to seniors, the college has a good placement record.
