Education provided here is good, but the food served is bad.

Placements: From our course, above 70% of the students got placements. The highest salary package offered was 24 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 18 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Microsoft, Tata Motors Geneva, etc. Very less students get internships. So, very less number of companies visit here for internships.

Amazing experience at NIT Durgapur.

Placements: A variety of companies visit the campus. The quantity of companies visiting for each department, and varied roles, is enough for a greater percentage of the students being placed. Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, JP Morgan&Chase, WellsFargo, D. E. Shaw are few of the top paying companies on campus.

Campus life is good with placements depending on the way you prepare.

Placements: Most of the students from the CSE stream get placed in top-notch companies like Microsoft, Amazon, JPMC and others being amongst the recruiters. It gets a bit hard for the core departmental students, but the number of companies visiting has gone up by a decent amount in recent times. Around 80-85% of the students are getting placed, and the rest of them are opting for higher studies.
