Absolutely lucky to be a part of this esteemed college. Proud to be a part of it.

Placements: Approximately 50-60% students are placed every year from the civil department. Placements for the senior batch was good. Some high-level companies like L&T and Wipro often visit and offer PPO to the students studying in the 3rd year. The highest package offered for the civil department is 6-9 lakhs approx. and the minimum package is 3.5 lakhs approx.

National Institute of Technology Hamirpur is one of the best colleges in our country.

Placements: I am from CSE branch. In our college, a lot of companies come for the purpose of placements, and almost all students are placed every year. Placements of other branches are also good but in CSE are much better than others. Companies also come here for internship but as compared to placements, internship ratio is very low. But finally, we can say that National Institute of Technology Hamirpur is the best or CSE.

College surrounded by mountains.

Placements: Placements here are good enough mainly for CSE and ECE students. For CSE, the average is about 6.5 LPA. The highest package goes up to 19 LPA and the highest packages are offered by Drishti, Quizzes and Samsung. Placement in Samsung was awesome. 10 were placed at 14 LPA.

Good infrastructure and decent placements.

Placements: The placements are good this time. About 58% of our batch of electrical and electronics engineering are placed till now, and there is one more semester left. Talking about other branches, CSE, ECE and mechanical also have a very good placement record. One of our CSE students got a package of 75 lakhs per annum, the second highest package among all the NITs.

Absolutely satisfied with everything. But there is always a scope of improvement.

Placements: 60%-70% students were placed. Highest salary - 18 lakh, lowest salary - 2.5 lakh. 2% students were selected for internship from the college. But still, the deserving students got a proper chance to shine like a bright star. The average stipend offer is 5 lakh rupees and that is quite good for a beginner. So, all in all, everything is good.

NITH has an excellent infrastructure. It also has great scenic beauty. The campus is like a small town. We have a bank, dispensary, ATMs, stationary shops and other necessary shops within the campus. Freshers need not get out of the college for anything. There are small canteens and Nescafe scattered around the campus. The cost and quality of everything are satisfactory. There are many hostels for boys as compared to just 3 for girls, but they are more than enough. The hostels are well equippe...

First of all, NITH has got the most beautiful, green and peaceful campus to study in. Almost all of the labs and departments have been renovated and are equipped with modern equipment. From placement point of view, B.Tech in CSE and ECE are the best branches with about 90-95% placements since 2013. For other branches, about 20-30% students go for off campus placements. The internet facility is not good in the campus. The faculty is good, helpful and is highly qualified. Some hostels do not have ...

As far as civil engineering at NITH is concerned, it’s good. Teachers are good, facilities are excellent, you will get here lot more learning opportunities. Placement records are good for civil engineers and they are getting better year by year. Apart from civil engineering other branches are also good, particularly ECE. Placement records are very good for ECE and computer science. Even government companies do visit the college campus for recruitments.

It was a very nice experience. The labs were well established. The placement officer managed to get very good companies to the campus. Even during recession, the placements were not that bad.
