Good for Academic knowledge.

Placements: Not a proper functioning placement cell in the economics department. Much more focus on academics. TCS was the only company that came and only 2 students were placed from a batch of 30. The internships offered are also research oriented and not with corporate companies but with research organizations.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is above average. Since its a public university not much can be expected but the new buildings and hostels that are being built are very good. The overall campus is very green and beautiful. It has a lot of extra curricular opportunities for the students like swimming, shooting range, football, cricket etc. The main library is a world class and a great place to study.

Faculty: Faculty is great. Very helpful, qualified and committed teachers. The teaching quality is also very good. Highly experienced faculty. The course curriculum is very intense and relevant but it lacks any real life applications. Its very theoretical and does not make students industry ready.
