In order to take admission in M.Tech at PES University, students need to be graduated with minimum 50% aggregate in BTech with respective streams from a recognised University.

The University has not released branch-wise placement statistics. However, the course-specific details are available in the NIRF report 2024. As per the report, the median package offered to BTech and MTech students during 2023 placements was INR 8 LPA and INR 4.90 LPA, respectively. When comparing the last three years' data (2021 to 2023), an improving trend was recorded in the BTech and MTech median packages. The course fee for two-year M.Tech course in CSE at PES University is INR 2.60 lakh. This fee includes a component of a one-time Non-refundable Administrative Deposit of INR 10,000. 

According to PES University Engineering NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) Report 2022, an improving trend was witnessed in the median package offered to the students over the past three years during the PES University Bangalore B.Tech placements. The top companies taking part in the placement drive at PES University Bangalore are IBM, Amazon, Intel, and various others. According to media reports, the average and the highest package offered during PES University placements in 2023 stood at INR 17.99 LPA and INR 65 LPA, respectively.
