Here's a summary of the pros and cons of pursuing an M.Sc. at SHUATS:

Pros:

* Well-designed curriculum: The university's curriculum is considered relevant and industry-oriented, making students "industry-ready".
* Qualified faculty: Faculty members hold PhDs and are well-qualified, providing students with good learning outcomes.

* Infrastructure: SHUATS has a good infrastructure, including well-equipped labs, classrooms, and a library.
* Supportive atmosphere: Students praise the university's supportive atmosphere, with faculty members being approachable and helpful.

Cons:

* Placement concerns: Placements are not guaranteed, and some departments may struggle to place students.
* Hostel conditions: Hostel rooms may be small, with shared spaces and basic amenities.
* Food quality: Mess food is considered average, and students often prefer to opt for external eating options.

M.Sc. in Agriculture (Plant Pathology) - Batch of 2021

4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
The campus has an excellent atmosphere and all the required facilities.
Placements: About 70 students got placed in my batch. Internships and placements are quite good, with ideal packages. Most of the students, after passing out, are recruited by good companies with decent packages. The practical sessions make students much more capable.
Infrastructure: The college has comfortable classrooms, ideal lab facilities, and a library. Wi-Fi connection is available everywhere in the department. The hostel rooms are quite comfortable, but the food is not up to the mark. Games and sports are conducted by the administration to encourage students.
Faculty: Professors are very helpful and provide quality education. The curriculum is relevant. Semester examinations are not that tough, but every student can crack the exams. The pass percentage is good.
Other: I chose this course because I can study more about plants and can treat plants when got infected, and that's the best thing in my course. I think the lab facilities should be made available for every student so that they can perform and handle the situations once they are recruited by any company.
