Thapar university, Worth the expenditure

Placements: Many students of my senior batch (7 out of 30) were placed in the third year itself, others were also placed with good packages. But at last it is your own hard work, cannot give full credit to the College. Computer and mechanical have very good placement.

Infrastructure: 5/5. The campus has great infrastructure. Best buildings in the city are in Thapar. Crores are sent every year to revamp the infrastructure. Sports infrastructure is also very good including atheistic track, lawn tennis and swimming pool. Labs are also well-equipped with all the latest gadgets and equipment, mechanical lab is one of the best a college can have.

Faculty: There are only few good faculty, 10 or even less, other faculty just reads out of PPTs and tells us what book to read, study here is more based on our self study. Only mechanical department has old and experienced teachers. Mechanical courses of Thapar is also internationally acclaimed. They also have tie up with Trinity college Dublin with also shares the same course curriculum.

Other: Awesome fests are conducted all over the year, they have very active participation, and are also popular among other college students.
