Satisfied with the overall experience and faculty.
Placements: 75% of them got placements. The highest package offered was around 50 LPA. The average package offered was around 12 LPA. Top recruitment companies in our college were JP Morgan, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc. Top roles offered in my course are.
Infrastructure: The faculty was amazing. The campus was beautiful with a lot of flowers and plants, a heaven of greenery. The facilities were great, from the computer lab to classrooms to the library. Canteen food was average but not bad. Quality could be rated as 7/10, at least for me.
Faculty: Faculty was amazing, extremely qualified, and best at what they did. Some teachers were quite strict but really knowledgeable. Yes, the course curriculum is extremely relevant and helps you gain on-field information as well. The semester exams are quite difficult but easy to manage if you have attended your lectures well.

A college with poor infrastructure but better faculty members.
Placements: I'm not certain about the placement statistics for the course, but generally, students tend to pursue a master's degree in our field. An internship is mandatory in the 5th semester. However, the college does not provide internships. Instead, students are required to find their internships, but professors are available to assist students in their search.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not up to date because the college is old and doesn't have adequate space to handle students. The canteen is small and always crowded, but the food is nice and edible. The college also has a gymkhana, which is not functional for 1-2 years. The gymkhana faculty is nice and very helpful.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and qualified for the job. They help students by teaching them separately in the college. Even though students didn't attend the lecture. Semester exams are a bit on the tougher side as they also consider practical questions.
Other: I have chosen to pursue a B.A. in economics and political science. Professors here are excellent, Very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. However, infrastructure development is necessary, as we currently lack smart classrooms and have a very small auditorium. Regarding campus life, the annual fest is decent. The crowd comprises a mix of students from diverse backgrounds. Overall, they are quite friendly. Unfortunately, sports facilities are limited. The college is not particularly well-known for its athletics. Overall, the college is good.

B.A. in Psychology - Batch of 2024

Pros and Cons of Joining Wilson College.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities offered in my course. Students mostly have to find internships by themselves. The college does not have a placement cell for Psychology so there aren't any opportunities. Professors did share resources but they were very limited.
Infrastructure: I have not lived in the hostel so I cannot comment on that. My classroom didn't have many facilities. We did have a psychology lab which had the required equipments but it was average. Our libraries weren't convenient as there was no system to just pick out a book and read. But rather forms had to be filled and books would be given the next day.
Faculty: Some teachers are qualified and knowledge whereas the majority teachers are not good enough. Most just read through their notes and don't make the subject interesting. The course curriculum is relevant but it can be better. The course can have more practical experiments, group projects and better assignments for the overall development of a student. The semester exams aren't very difficult. Majority students clear exams.
Other: I love psychology and I want to pursue Psychology later on in my life and hence I chose this course. The course is interesting and I loved studying Social Psychology. It would be better if we had better assignments and experiments rather than very outdated ones. I didn't like the crowd. The people weren't very welcoming and there was favouritism and groupism quite a bit. I MET better people in my third year. There are many extra curricular activities for those interested .

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Batch of 2025

College is best in its infrastructure, placements, and facilities.
Placements: Around 1-2% of students from each batch secure placements. I don't know about the salary package yet. Companies like HDFC and ICICI Bank visit for placement opportunities. In the last batch of TYBA Economics, only one student was placed. After completing a B.A. in Economics, we can become a professor in junior college and schools.
Infrastructure: The B.A. in Economics course, facilities are available such as Wi-Fi access, well-equipped labs, classrooms, library access, and white screen projectors. College does not provide hostel facilities. Canteen provides good-quality food. Medical facilities are given high priority on campus. They also give importance for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers in the B.A. Economics are very helpful and well-qualified. They have cleared the NET or SET examinations. The HOD holds a Ph.D. degree and is highly knowledgeable than any other teacher. Teaching quality is excellent, with faculty members supporting students in understanding the concepts. Curriculum is relevant. It helps students to understand the resource studies and data correction methods that will benefit them in the future. Semester exams for B.A. Economics are quite easy. Passing percentage is almost 99-100% every year.

Good college, do check out other colleges as well and select the one which suits your need.
Placements: The placements were great, one of my friends was hired by Colgate for a finance-related job, another one for HDFC Securities. HR Manager and Researcher were the top roles I can recall. I can't recall the percent of students who got internships. It differed from course to course.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility but has a canteen. The computer lab can only be used by IT students. The library collection is very great. Wi-Fi is also available for students. Medical facilities are also provided, as well as there is a dedicated room for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course differs. The semester exams are set by the college itself as it is now an autonomous college, but you can find the previous year question papers in the library. There are many activities which make the students industry-ready, but it majorly depends upon the internships and other live projects you do.

The college has its merits and demerits.
Placements: More or less, the internships are with Stanly Morgan, but the departmental internships are not up to par. It's better to find your own internships via LinkedIn. It is said that the companies are in plenty, but that feels like a lie. Overall, just because of the name, you can get placements wherever you want.
Infrastructure: There are no ACs, but the overall infrastructure is nice. The projector works fine. The Gymkhana is nice, and the sports in college are plentiful. The library has its own vibe; it feels like you are studying in Hogwarts, but the books are outdated in many aspects. The lending and reference libraries are two different libraries.
Faculty: It's more theoretical. It would be more practical to have real-life field visits, but the college doesn't have that. It gives you a better understanding of how real life works. Most of the faculty hired are real-life working professionals, and their insights help a lot.
Other: The fests are plentiful, but after a while, it feels forced to participate to earn ECC points.
