Overall personally college has the best events and everyone will love to join.
Placements: Around 80% of students were placed in B.A. course. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Around 85% of students got internships. Most private firms offer internships and placements with a good package. I think this is the average good college for further education.
Infrastructure: Every department has good environment. Every class has Wi-Fi facility. It has its labs which are neat and clean. Classrooms are huge, neat, and clean. College has 2 huge libraries. There are 2 canteens in this college with hygiene in food and clean.
Faculty: Teaching staff is well-educated, helpful, and understanding. Semester exams are little strict, and the passing percentage is 35% as usual. But if we care about assignments and ports projects then it is easy to pass an exam.
Other: Personally, I chose this course because I want to try in railways. Best thing about this course is that it is easy and teaching staff are helpful. Things would be better if college provided more subjects. Events are best every year. Cultural department has different ideas about events and everyone has a chance to apply for scholarships.

Excellent infrastructure and industry-relevant curriculum with good placement opportunities.
Placements: ITM IHM Navi Mumbai boasts a 100% placement rate, with top recruiters like The Oberoi, Hilton, and Taj Hotels. Students receive international internship opportunities, including placements in the USA, earning up to USD 1,500 per month, ensuring industry-ready graduates.
Infrastructure: ITM IHM offers Wi-Fi, state-of-the-art food production and F&B service labs, air-conditioned classrooms, and a well-stocked library. Hostel and Food: Clean and secure hostels provide comfortable living, with a mess offering hygienic, balanced meals and a canteen for snacks. Medical and Sports: On-campus medical support and sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games ensure students' health and recreation.
Faculty: The faculty at ITM IHM is highly qualified, experienced, and supportive, ensuring students gain practical and theoretical knowledge. Curriculum Relevance: The industry-focused curriculum, with hands-on training, prepares students effectively for careers in hospitality and tourism. Exams and Pass Percentage: Semester exams are moderately challenging, with a high pass percentage due to strong academic support and resources.
Other: I chose this course for its global career opportunities and hands-on learning approach. The best aspects include an industry-focused curriculum, internships, and exposure to top hospitality brands. Improved international programs and advanced tech integration would enhance it further, while vibrant campus life, events, and scholarships make the experience enriching.

B.A. in Psychology - Batch of 2024
Offered by Wilson College
2.6

Pros and Cons of Joining Wilson College.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities offered in my course. Students mostly have to find internships by themselves. The college does not have a placement cell for Psychology so there aren't any opportunities. Professors did share resources but they were very limited.
Infrastructure: I have not lived in the hostel so I cannot comment on that. My classroom didn't have many facilities. We did have a psychology lab which had the required equipments but it was average. Our libraries weren't convenient as there was no system to just pick out a book and read. But rather forms had to be filled and books would be given the next day.
Faculty: Some teachers are qualified and knowledge whereas the majority teachers are not good enough. Most just read through their notes and don't make the subject interesting. The course curriculum is relevant but it can be better. The course can have more practical experiments, group projects and better assignments for the overall development of a student. The semester exams aren't very difficult. Majority students clear exams.
Other: I love psychology and I want to pursue Psychology later on in my life and hence I chose this course. The course is interesting and I loved studying Social Psychology. It would be better if we had better assignments and experiments rather than very outdated ones. I didn't like the crowd. The people weren't very welcoming and there was favouritism and groupism quite a bit. I MET better people in my third year. There are many extra curricular activities for those interested .

B.A. in Psychology - Batch of 2024
Offered by Wilson College

2Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Wilson College: A Balanced Blend of Academics and Campus Life.
Placements: Placement percentage for psychology graduates is around 50-70%, often driven by internships and external opportunities. The highest package is around 5-6 LPA, the lowest 2-3 LPA, and the average 3-4 LPA. Top recruiters include NGOs, hospitals, mental health centers, and corporate HR departments. Internships are common in mental health clinics, NGOs, and educational institutions. Common roles include HR Assistant, Counselor, Behavior Analyst, and Mental Health Associate.
Infrastructure: The Psychology department provides average labs for psychological testing and experiments, with no advanced audiovisual aids. Wi-Fi is not provided to students. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms and basic amenities. The mess food is good, but it lacks basic items like chips and biscuits, and the canteen is small. Medical facilities include on-campus first aid. For sports, there is only one basketball court available.
Faculty: The teachers in the psychology department are kind and approachable, but the college sometimes hires contractual and inexperienced professors who lack proper teaching skills. The course is relevant and helps students become industry-ready, especially with topics like industrial psychology, which provide a broad perspective. The exams are not very difficult, with a passing mark of 40 out of 100.
Other: Attendance is considered very important. Students with attendance below 50% are debarred from exams. To ensure compliance, students are told that 75% attendance is mandatory. There is no ragging in the college. Some professors are very experienced and possess excellent teaching skills. Additionally, they are very helpful and kind. Wilson College hosts numerous fests and events. There is no dress code, and students are free to wear whatever they want. The classrooms lack smart boards, and the washrooms are not well-maintained. The taps in the washrooms don’t work properly.

The infrastructure needs to be upgraded.
Placements: About 70% of students are available in our course. The salary package is not given to the students. This college does not provide any recruitment. They let us know future plans but they don't provide internships or placements. The HOD of the psychology department is good, and she will let us know about the places for internships.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the college for the students. In computer labs, computers do not even work properly. The science lab is average. In classrooms, fans do not work properly. The library is good but less spacious. The hostel is not provided by the college. The gymkhana is available on the 7th floor, and there is no campus in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-experienced. They all are PhD holders in their specific subjects. The course curriculum is not relevant, and it does not make students industry-ready and students need to do it by themselves. Semester exams are slightly tough and the pass marks are 40.
Other: I joined the psychology course which has very good and knowledgeable teachers. They also take us for field visits. In the future, I want to do criminology. The college should improve the infrastructure and professors should be more polite. The event is done in the classrooms as there is no space and campus in the college, it's just a building.

B.A. in Mass Communication and Journalism - Batch of 2025
Offered by St. Xavier's College, Mumbai

The college has its merits and demerits.
Placements: More or less, the internships are with Stanly Morgan, but the departmental internships are not up to par. It's better to find your own internships via LinkedIn. It is said that the companies are in plenty, but that feels like a lie. Overall, just because of the name, you can get placements wherever you want.
Infrastructure: There are no ACs, but the overall infrastructure is nice. The projector works fine. The Gymkhana is nice, and the sports in college are plentiful. The library has its own vibe; it feels like you are studying in Hogwarts, but the books are outdated in many aspects. The lending and reference libraries are two different libraries.
Faculty: It's more theoretical. It would be more practical to have real-life field visits, but the college doesn't have that. It gives you a better understanding of how real life works. Most of the faculty hired are real-life working professionals, and their insights help a lot.
Other: The fests are plentiful, but after a while, it feels forced to participate to earn ECC points.
