UPES Dehradun BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025

UPES Dehradun BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. UPES Dehradun offers BTech in 28 specialisations and Global BTech in five specialisations through the UPES School of Advanced Engineering (SOAE). UPES School of Computer Science (SOCS) offers BTech (Hons) in 12 specialisations and a Global BTech in CSE. BTech is available in 10 specialisations under UPES School of Health Sciences & Technology (SOHST).

UPES Dehradun BTech course admission will be based on national-level entrance exams. The university also conducts its own UPESEAT exam to provide admission to BTech courses. Candidates seeking admission to BTech at UPES Dehradun are required to meet the eligibility criteria.

Up to 20% of seats shall be filled through the non-exam category (10% through JEE Mains and 10% through Board Merit). In case seats are vacant in this category; UPES can fill these through the UPES Examination. The university reserves the right to conduct further CBT/ Pen Paper/ Online tests for admission.

The university offers Global BTech courses for four years with two years on campus and two years in overseas universities.
