VIT Amravati is well known for its BTech placements, especially the CSE branch. The VIT Andhra Pradesh average package CSE offered during the 2024 placement drive is yet to be published on the official website. Vellore Institute of Technology-AP (VIT-AP) does not consider JEE scores for admission to its BTech program. Admission to VIT-AP is based on the candidate's performance in the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE), which is a university-level entrance exam conducted by VIT University.

The VITEEE is a computer-based test and consists of multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The minimum eligibility criteria for VITEEE is a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in 10+2 or equivalent.

To prepare for the VITEEE, candidates can refer to the previous year's question papers and sample papers available on the official website of VIT University. They can also take mock tests to practice for the exam.

The VIT-AP EAMCET Cutoff 2023 was released for admission to BTech courses at VIT-AP. The VIT-AP Cutoff ranks were  released for different categories under the AI and HS Quota. The Cutoff ranks ranged between 1930 and 9255 for different courses. B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive course for the General AI category candidates, with the Cutoff of 1930. Based on the previous years' cutoff, candidates seeking admission to VIT-AP must secure more than the cutoff range mentioned here to secure a seat. 

The VIT-AP EAMCET Cutoff 2024 is yet to be out. But, considering the VIT-AP EAMCET Cutoff 2022, the Cutoff rank for CSE was 6020 while for the year 2021, the Cutoff for CSE closed at 32230. The fee structure for courses at VIT-AP University ranges from 43,000 to 1,98,000. The first year fee for B.Tech is 1,98,000, which includes a tuition fee of 1,95,000 and a refundable caution deposit of 3,000.

VIT-AP also offers hostel facilities. The hostel fee for a 2-bed AC room is 1,02,000, plus a refundable caution deposit of 15,000, for a total of 1,17,000. The hostel fee for a 4-bed non-AC room is 49,400, plus a refundable caution deposit of 15,000, for a total of 64,400. 

Based on the 2024 placement statistics at VIT Amaravati, it appears to be a promising institution for career prospects. With a the highest package of INR 27 LPA and an average package of INR 14.43 LPA, the university is attracting notable recruiters like Cognizant, Infosys, Amazon, HP, and Google.
