To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech programme at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), candidates must have passed their 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects. They must also have scored a minimum of 60% marks in their 10+2 level board examination from any recognised board of education. 

Candidates with a rank below one Lacs will be asked to attend VITEEE counseling. However, this doesn't guarantee admission because it's an elimination process. 

The Vellore Institute of Technology-AP (VIT-AP) 2023 cutoff marks are determined based on the following factors:

VIT University uses equating methodology to calculate candidate's marks. The cutoff marks for VITEEE 2023 will be released separately for each engineering stream, with higher and lower cutoffs based on candidate preferences. The cutoff marks are the minimum marks required in the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam to get admission into the campuses. Vellore Institute of Technology does not offer direct admission. It is necessary that you go through the course-specific selection rounds. For VIT Andhra Pradesh Amaravati admission, candidates are selected based on their merit in the last qualifying exam or entrance exam.  After completion of the selection rounds, the institute releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive course for the General AI category candidates, with the Cutoff of 1930. The VIT-AP EAMCET Cutoff 2024 is yet to be out. But, considering the VIT-AP EAMCET Cutoff 2022, the Cutoff rank for CSE was 6020 while for the year 2021, the Cutoff for CSE closed at 32230.
