IIT Delhi Cutoff 2013: Category-Wise Ranks

For admission to an MTech course at IIT Delhi, candidates must have a GATE score greater than or equal to the cut-off marks. The cut-off varies across the MTech specialisations and reservation categories of the candidates.

For IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay, the Round 1 cutoff for Chemical Engineering were 2207 and 2507, respectively for the General AI category candidates. For IIT Gandhinagar, the Round 1 cutoff for CSE was 1576. So, to answer your question, IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay are always a good options as compared to IIT Gandhinagar based on their NIRF ranking. For Chemical Engineering, both IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay are highly recommended as they have excellent faculty, research opportunities, and strong alumni networks. Also, Chemical Engineering offers you an opportunity to work in PSU, whereas CSE students don’t have that opportunity.

However, On the other hand, a CSE student have an opportunity to work in MNC’s with higher salary package even more than what PSU’s give. But since, IIT Gandhinagar has been ranked 29th in the NIRF Ranking 2024, you must consider its other aspects such as placement, ROI etc to take your decision.
