About BMS college of engineering.
Placements: As our college is one of the top in Bangalore, placements are very better compared to other colleges. As I am in civil branch, as of my knowledge, placements in civil are less compared to other branches like CS and other IT related. As of now, the maximum package is 8 LPA in recent 2-3 years.
Infrastructure: I think you will find the best infrastructure in BMS college with a well-equipped library and a fully Wi-Fi supportive digital library. As for Civil Labs, they are number 1, far better than any other college in Bangalore. Hostels are a little bit costly (nearly 2 LPA). The best food is provided to students.
Faculty: Teachers are very well experienced with at least 15-20 years. They are very helpful, they guide us to a very good path of successful career. Students will have two continuous internal examinations and 1 semester end exam. Lecturers will train them in the best way so that they can compete themselves in the real world.
Other: BMS is best option for you to opt. It is the best college with good atmosphere.

Review of BMS College of Engineering.
Placements: Placements in civil engineering are not up to the mark compared to other branches. You can apply for some tech companies when companies allow otherwise core companies are quite less. You won't get any internship from our college in the civil branch.
Infrastructure: The civil department is good. It has all equipment and lab facilities. The hostel is quite good compared to other hostels in Bangalore. The food served in our college is better than other colleges. The hostel rooms are quite spacious. We have single and 2 sharing rooms.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. It is an old branch that is lagging behind innovation. Semester exams are easy to moderate.
Other: You can choose other branches if you don't want to struggle for jobs. If you are from a business background, you can choose this branch.

BMS always in my favourite list.
Placements: Placements for civil is nil in any engineering college cause of the system these people follow. The knowledge that we are gaining is theoretical and of no use in the practical world. Why would companies hire and pay to teach you. Whatever we learn is of no use. If you want to learn you'll have to do a lot of internships and visit actual sites.
Infrastructure: The library is well established with all relevant books, journals, newspapers and magazines along with acceptability to the digital library. Library times are from 9.00 am to 5 PM. All borrowed books should be renewed within 15 days of the issuance date. Max 3 books can be borrowed by students at a time. All classrooms are well furnished with necessary seating, lighting sand ventilation, computer systems for digital presentation is also available in classes. The hostel I got I've no complaints regarding the cleanliness, accommodation and food. The Wi-Fi is pretty good too.
Faculty: Civil engineering is actually a really good course if you like it. But the faculty is not knowledgeable enough I'd say. The exam is the same as it is in every other engineering college. But they just want to test our memory. It's never practical not just here but any engineering college I'd say. I've heard some of the colleges are even worse cause they give you a material, study and you've to just write it in on a paper. Till date I've only MET two professors in my department who possess knowledge and know how to teach the subjects. There are lecturers in our department who have specialised in their respective fields but the head weight is greater I'd say.
Other: I get into this college through an OBC category reservation. The admission process in this college goes smooth, and guidance will be given by the college personnel in case of any candidate facing difficulty in filling forms in the systems. A separate College Email will be given at the time of admission for further touch. Annually Utsav fest will be organised by the college. It is one of the biggest cultural fests and another technical fest will be organised by the clubs within the departments.

Teachers could have been more supportive and the infrastructure should maintained properly.
Placements: Around 64% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 20.2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Century and Wipro are the top recruiting companies. Around 80% of students get internships in different companies. The roles offered are civil engineer, architect, regulatory officer. The top companies are Big Basket, Bounce, CSG India, Daily, Dell EMC, and Commscope.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but it is now 2022, since its civil engineering department is from 1946. The building is now not in good condition. The maintenance is also not good. But civil engineering is very preferred in this college. It has its dedicated block for it.
Faculty: In this college, teachers are very good leaving 1 or 2. They are very qualified but they are not approachable as they are always busy worth some work. But few teachers are very supportive and give extra help if the student wants. Practical knowledge is given more importance than theoretical knowledge which makes a student ready for its future. Semester exams are difficult in this college. But the maximum pass percentage is 70%.
Other: This course is very interesting, and I come from the same background.

I am satisfied with this college infrastructure, library, placements, etc.
Placements: For civil Bmsce is the best college in placements as compared to all colleges in Bangalore. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Everyone will get the opportunity to internships. For placements recruiting 200 companies will come to our college in that 150 companies visit to hire students. The minimum salary pacakge offered is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: All infrastructure is excellent. It has excellent laboratories, library, and classrooms. Hostel is also excellent, but students can not get admissions in hostels it fills fast. The food is very good at the hostel. If get hostel admission do not miss it. They give non-vegetarian three times within a week.
Faculty: All teaching staff in our college are highly qualified staff. Some of them have decades of experience also. Semester exams are difficult. Our college is strict in attendance. If students get eligibility then only they are allowed to write semester exams otherwise they are considered as fail.
Other: It conducts more events like phase shifts, and many extracurricular activities are organised.
