Overall, the college is good for students who work hard.
Placements: The placement rate of our branch is low compared to other branches. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters of our course are Infosys and TCS. Other companies like Texas Instruments, Cognizant, etc., also visit our college for placements. The placement rate is almost 100% in EC and CS branches. Many students got placed as a software engineer, full-stack developer and tester.
Infrastructure: Boys' hostel is available inside the campus, and girls' hostel is situated in Jay Prakash Nagar. So, to reach the girls' hostel, our college provides buses. Our college area has network issues. However, the Wi-Fi service is available in reading rooms, library and canteen. Classrooms are spacious. The food served in the canteen is good.
Faculty: Faculty members in electronics and instrumentation engineering are student-friendly. Proctors are always available for inquiries, and teachers have very good knowledge of their respective subjects. If students face any difficulty in understanding the concepts, teachers are always available to help them to understand the concepts.
Other: Our campus is spread over an area of only 5 acres. The annual fest organised here is awesome, and our college is located near the national college metro station. Different clubs conduct different events frequently here.

Great placements and good faculty, but the campus is not that good.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. About 80-90% of students get placed easily. Not only the demanding branches like CS, ISE or ECE, but small branches like EIE, telecommunication, civil, etc. also have good placements. The salary packages offered to students are good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Labs are equipped with the latest equipment and gadgets. The classrooms are spacious and have projectors installed in them. The library is very good; you can issue a book any time you want, and there is always the best book recommended for the course. Each branch has its own library where you can issue books for the whole semester.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good. All the faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. They are always willing to help you out, and there are sufficient faculty members in each branch. The teaching methods of each faculty member are unique and very easy to understand. The course curriculum is very much useful.
Other: A lot of events and extracurricular activities happen in our college. There are many different clubs where you can register and organise events. The fest of our college is called Manthan which happens around March, and it is a 2-day programme. Different events and competitions are held in the fest.

Thing about BIT college, Bangalore.
Placements: Fewer placements were offered for the core branches like instrumentation, mechanical, civil, and industrial production. Most of the companies are of IT sectors which is useful for CS and IS branches. The placements will fall between the end of the 6th semester for BE and 7th semester. No placement training is provided even paying Rs. 1,500/- for training purpose.
Infrastructure: The college is located in the centre of the Bangalore city at "VV Puram " near KR market. It doesn't have many campuses, it is built with seven floors of the building. It doesn't have sports ground. But they provide huge support for the sports. Every sport is different.
Faculty: They have faculty and staff members more than 1000 people with PhD, M.Tech, BE, and Diploma qualified lectures and staff. The course curriculum is not much interesting as it comes to the competitive world. The syllabus according to VTU is outdated and no practical knowledge. It is only full of some theory stuff. As per present technology, the syllabus is outdated which is 10yrs back syllabus.

One of the top colleges. Not only for the name, but also has a good faculty and placements.
Placements: They provide very good placement opportunity to the students. There is a good placement co-ordinaton in BIT. As BIT is one of the top colleges, companies will take more students during placements and can expect a yearly increase in the placements. Even the mechanical guys will get an opportunity to attend IT companies like Infosys. During my batch, most of my friends got selected in Infosys.
Infrastructure: BIT don't have the infrastructure like Dayanand Sagar or Reva colleges have. But, if you stand in any row inside BIT college, you will see all the classrooms, students, lecturers etc. and there is a beautiful view at the centre of the college, that is a fountain. And we also have a sports room, where you can play carrom, chess etc.
Faculty: Every faculty teaches in their own style and makes students attend and listen to the class with interest. Especially, mathematics sir was there during our 3rd semester, we miss his teaching even now. The instrumentation branch is a combination of all branches of engineering.

Dissatisfied with faculty, infrastructure, canteen, extracurricular activities. Good placements.
Placements: The placement for this branch has been average. This year, the placement was better as compared to the last year's placement, though salaries were average. Only one student was placed with a highly paid job for my senior batch this year. Since my university has changed the department of instrumentation engineering to electronics and instrumentation in the year 2015, the percentage of students placed might increase.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor in this college. Fans do not work properly in classrooms. There is a hospital behind my college but still, medical facilities are none. I have been in this college for 2 years but still had not ever heard of any sports or game activity. Some people who had tried did get selected, though they have talent and potential because of inner politics. There is only one hostel available and if you are a north Indian, you have to pay some donation amount to get a room. The campus is far from what you expect from a college which has a rank 1 in university. The library has limited books and that too only related to your syllabus. For other areas, it does not have any. The canteen is shared with four other colleges. It is always crowded because it is too small to occupy students from five different colleges. The break time is only for half an hour and you cannot get what you order at that time because there is a lot of rush.
Faculty: The faculty team is worse. They are busy conspiring against other faculty members. Some do help students when students approach them. Teachers discriminate between students from north India and south India, girl students and boy students way too much. They will help you in lab externals if you are a south Indian girl who doesn't care about how you look. They are arrogant and cannot convey the knowledge in an interesting and understandable manner. I hardly understand what they teach in the class because their spoken English is too bad. They just skip what they can't speak.
Other: Having a good rank is just an illusion. This college isn't worth the hype it has among the colleges. It doesn't have on-campus hostels for girls. There is one but it is far away. The authority has provided a bus for commutation between the college and the hostel but this bus is too small for even 40 students. Girls have to sit on the bus doorsteps. It is a risk for their well-being. When students get on this one bus, it gets so full that you can't even move your arms. Some have to sit on the step while the bus is running.
