    Best college and best teachers.
Placements: Around 50% of the students are placed successfully. The highest pack is 3.8lakhs per annum and average is 2.9lakhs per annum its okay for students starting level. The management will give best company internships likes TVS and Hyundai motors most are the best internships. They arrange industrial visit to get more practical knowledge about learnings. The top role is get job in reputed company to help with college manage team successfully.
Infrastructure: In my classrooms more facility available such as Wi-Fi ,3d projector for live practical demo on my classrooms. Our campus had big library facility and good labs for conducting best tests in every week. The hostel is too good because the food is always ultimate and healthy, the hostel staffs too close to students friendly to take care all of us and give more time to spend time in sports and games. They give more attention to sports activities and conduct sports day.
Faculty: The teachers are good well knowledge and gives more trips out of books. The management also give practical knowledge via industrial visit for students better understanding. They conduct more revisions test to students get more pass percentage with help of wonderful teachers.

Review of Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University.
Placements: About 70% of students got placed in our department. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top core recruiting companies are Caterpillar, L&T, Daimler, Hyundai, Renault Nissan, Ashok Leyland, Accenture, and LatentView.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are decent but not well-maintained. All labs are good. The food served in the hostel is average. The hostel will be open till 7 pm. Outdoor sports facilities are great, but indoor sports facilities need a lot of improvement.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, but teaching is a different art. They will try to focus you more on theory and then approach the practical rather than the opposite. You need to work hard and develop your skills to become ready for the industry. Semester exams are challenging.
Other: I would not recommend this college to other state or NRI students because there will be linguistic and food problems. But if you are mentally ready to cope with everything here, you can join this college.

    MIT has a heavenly campus.
Placements: In the mechanical department, there were about 60 seats. The average cut was about 185 for the mechanical department. The top recruiting companies are Accenture and TVs. About 80 per cent of the students got internships in various companies. The top role offered in our course is Simens multi facility laboratories where we can learn anything free of cost.
Infrastructure: Half of the department buildings and hostel building were old buildings. So little drag in infrastructure. But they were refurbished successfully. The lab facility was quite happy. Our college has one of the best Libraries in Chennai. The food in the hostel and canteen was very nice. But there were no ground facilities inside College. The ground and 2,3rd year hostel were resides in MIT ANNEXURE, which was about 500m from college.
Faculty: Most of the staff were well qualified. But as it was a government college they didn't concentrate on the student's studies. They only concentrate on their portions. We have to study on our own. Yes, it makes the curriculum relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are a little bit easier than in other colleges. The pass percentage was about 98 percent.

It is one of the top universities and the placements are good.
Placements: Around 60% of the students are placed in several companies and MNCs. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment. The highest salary offered is 9 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Caterpillar, Hyundai, and several other IT companies like TCS, CTS, etc. Around 40% of the students got internships. Role offered is as a design engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There are many Wi-Fi huts. Students make use of it in several ways. The library is available on our campus which is very useful. In the hostel, the rooms and mess are good. There is a medical center near the hostel which is very efficient. Weekly sports sessions are held.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and the teaching quality is good up to the satisfaction to the level. The curriculum is based on Anna University and is very good. The course curriculum is efficient to make students ready for industry. The semester exams are not too difficult. It is up to the level of students. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose the mechanical stream because I like the core industry. The college should provide more practical knowledge for the betterment of the course. There are many events held every semester. Students enjoy it a lot.

The college is good on a merit basis, but not suitable for NRI quota students.
Placements: The placements are average in our department. Some of the top recruiting companies are Caterpillar, Hyundai, etc visit our college for recruitment and internships also offer which is good. But placement is average.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average in this college. Library and classrooms are average. It has Wi-Fi and laboratories for students, but it is not good. The quality of the food has to be improved, but not the worst food ever.
Faculty: The quality of the teachers mostly depends on the individual. Faculty members cover up to 70% of the syllabus. The difficulty level of the semester exams depends upon the subject and department.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in it. If students get admission on merit then it is good for them. But not a good choice for other management and NRI quota.
