All about Techno International Newtown.
Placements: 80 percent students get placed in our course in college. The highest package was 32 lacs in last decade. And average package offered approx. 4 lacs in our course in our college. Top recruiters are TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, etc. They offered various roles.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is very good, and campus life is also good. It is located in Newtown near Biswa Bangla Gate. But campus is not big. Faculties are average. But some faculties are very experienced. And their teaching quality is also good. Yes, here hostel facilities are available.
Faculty: Yes, some teachers are helpful, but not all. Some are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was average. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant to the market. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams in this college are very difficult. Makaut conducts the exam.
Other: I chose this course because of it's market demand. Teaching techniques would be better or improve about this course.

Absolutely dissatisfied regarding placements.
Placements: There are 200 students enrolled in my CSE batch (2021-25), and only 5 of them got internships. Placements are not so good. If you come to this college, you have to work hard by yourself. The faculty is good, but you need to approach them for help. Pool campus placement opportunities will be provided, meaning all Techno India group students sit for one company. During my time, companies like Deltax, Accenture, EY (hired only female candidates), and IBM (only females eligible) came. If you're a girl, then sure, come here because girls are given priority regarding placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, and labs happen regularly. The Tint and SNU libraries are the same, and you have to work hard. All the lab faculty are good, and proper maintenance is done in the labs every year. Normal classrooms are provided with no AC, only fans. The campus size is also small, but in Kolkata, most colleges are not large.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, but only for your semester and internal examinations. If you want to get into a big company and achieve career growth, you have to self-study and pursue off-campus placements. The teachers have expertise, but they won’t share all their knowledge with you since they only focus on the syllabus and have no idea about the current market scenario.
Other: Fest and Mauj Masti are very good in this college.

Infrastructure is good, variation in course subjects, nice faculty, good placement.
Placements: Around 80-90% students in our department were placed, but joining is coming or yet to come around 1 year. The lowest is 4 LPA, the highest around 10LPA. Top recruitment companies are: TCS, Microsoft, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Persistence. Almost everyone who tried for internship got one in companies, like Persistence and percentage is 70%. Data Analyst, Software engineer trainee, sales worker, non-technical role.
Infrastructure: There is good Wi-Fi, but sometimes it gets overwhelmed by its traffic, rest it is meant for only those are doing lab work inside. We have serve room, hardware room, in our course we have electrical lab, electrical workshop and mechanical workshop where we have lots of tools like chisel, hammer, file, wooden block, arc welding, gas welding, fluid work and many more. About library, they give you old book, some are even from early 20s or late 19s. All the new books are framed as RD ->read only side library. But you can read any books available inside and there are some computer connections and Wi-Fi inside. If you are Techno student, SNU stuff won't ever let you step a foot on their property, point to be note, they never let us pass through the main GATE of SNU for our ease to go to our Engineering drawing classroom held at the 6th floor in SNU, or never let us pass through the front GATE of SNU exception to go to library, they force us to use backdoors. I was not into hostels, but I heard about friends that they provide not a good quality of foods but below average. Quality of food in canteen is average and they provide less quantity of food, not worth it if you are not from rich family. There is a hospital near our college, OHIO (good morning in Japanese ) named hospital, if you are really rich, you can afford it. There is basketball field on the SNU field, you can play it even if you are from Techno student, SNU stuff won't bother you. There occurs annual sports: cricket, football, chess, carrom, tennis, table tennis.
Faculty: Teachers are most of them helpful, they help you if you seek for it or management yells at them. They are most of them good qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is quite good, but I hope for the betterment of it in this upcoming year. This course is relevant to our real life problems and their solutions. Not entirely they make us industry ready, there are some placement programs at the end of curriculum, where they do some placement training, where they mostly try their best but you need to learn what you are interested by yourself. They can't feed you everything. Semester difficult is preety normal or challenging sometimes, specially when it's starting semester, then we have less time, but overall not too hard to be true. Pass percentage in our department are around 98-100%. .
Other: I chose this as I am computer enthusiast. Problem solving is best thing in it and variation of courses. We should have a review section weekly to be mandatory for every candidate in classroom, so that their vice can reach to higher authorities. Let us have more flexibility in choosing optional subjects in our curriculum instead of letting us choose only one forced subject in 5,67 th semester. There are Gala nights, annual sports and code fest.

Placements: The placement percentage of our college is fair till now 10% of our students are placed. Top recruit companies are TCS, Accenture, EY etc. They offered the top roles such as Advanced software developed on the highest package of 7.5 LPA. 5 to 6 companies also came to our college for internship offers. Many companies will come in the rest of the year.
Infrastructure: Our college is fully equipped with high-quality labs with CCTV cameras in each class and projectors are also there in the class. Every department has its different labs and classrooms available on different floors. Free Wi-Fi is also there in our college. Our college has a centralized library which consists of different types of courses related and different books are also there in our library. The hostel quality of our college is also very good, girls and boys have different hostels with availability of food and medical facilities. Different types of ground for basketball, football and cricket are also present in our college.
Faculty: Teachers of our college in every department are very much helpful by providing study materials and mentoring in different projects and hackathons. The teaching quality of our teachers is also good. Our college follows the Makaut curriculum which is 2 semesters every year where each semester consists of 4 CAs and 2 PCAs. Most of the subjects of our course are relevant to trends. Semester exams in our college are good. The pass percentage in our college is also very good.
Other: Computer Science and engineering is one of the trending and best courses in engineering. CSE taught me a lot of different and unique subjects and programming languages. There are many fests organised by different departments in our college which are Science exhibitions, musical fests, writing competitions, quiz and debate competitions etc. The best part of our campus is the location of our campus which is situated in the prime location. Every year there is a sporting fest and competition also held which is organised by our college. In our college SVMCM scholarships and Student credit card schemes are also available.

The worst infrastructure is MAKAUT-affiliated, along with a small campus. Don't get in there.
Placements: 100 percent of placements are offered at our college. TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys and Persistence are the recruiting companies.
The highest package was 18 lacs, and the lowest was 2 lacs.
1 percent of students get internship from our college. The placement in our college is decent. But the internship opportunity is very poor.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not so good. The rooms are also not suitable for classes, there are always water problems in the washrooms, faculty members are also not friendly with the students. Hostel accommodations are well-built; rooms are clean, clear and airy, but the food can not be eaten by humans; always, a dog also avoids the food.
Faculty: Faculty members are not friendly to each other; no student-teacher interaction is there. Teaching is quite good in regular classes. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready; the study required to get a job requires a student to do that on his own. The semester exams are too tough. The question at Makaut University is so tough that a large number of students get backlogs in semester examinations. The exam is always conducted in a CCTV-serviced room with two guards. It's too difficult.
Other: The Newtown Rajarhat area is well developed, so the surrounding area is pretty good. Also, there are many companies building beside our college. But the college campus is not so good; its very small. Beside our college, there is a university named Sister Nibedita University. Our college uses the campus of that university.

You cannot get it. firstly you have to clear it. because either you should have PCB or PCM. Through PCM you can get admission in the engineering college. If you have Maths but failed in physics then also you are not eligible. So clear out the physics.
