Good infrastructure, facilities, and value for money.
Placements: In the chemical engineering branch this year, 88% of total students get placed. The highest package of my branch was around 13 LPA in chemical. Vedanta was the top recruiting company. More than 70% students got internships in many companies like Tata Steel, JSW, Vedanta, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, and there are all facilities available in the course, for example, labs, libraries, and classrooms. All the facilities in the hostel are also good. Good quality food with the healthy environment of the hostel and friends. They also provide some sports equipment for fun time.
Faculty: Yes, here teachers are helpful and well classified with good teaching quality. Yes, course curriculum is very relevant according to industries. It helps students to shape themselves according to the industries. It is somewhat difficult to pass, but the maximum number of students pass the exams.
Other: There are always ongoing events in college by many clubs, and everyone has many opportunities for scholarships and extracurricular activities too.

Overview and insight of BIT Sindri .
Placements: Placements are good for the core sector in terms of placement ratio, which is 80 percent. For technical things like coding and soft skills, though it's a lower percentage, it's a good CTC compared to core sectors like 55 LPA given by Amazon. Internships are both paid and unpaid.
Infrastructure: Good hostel, and of course, you get enough time for self-study and self-development. I got hostel number ten for my first year in college. On the ground floor there is an issue of electricity. Every hostel in BIT has solar power enabled, but my hostel isn't installed yet.
Faculty: The worst part is that there is no academic calendar and predefined date for the exam; you will only be informed two weeks before the exam. But exams are too easy; you can get an average 80 percent by studying one night before the exam and get good marks by studying one week.

Facts about BIT Sindri, Dhanbad.
Placements: 60% of students got placements in the placement session. The highest package was 16.5 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was around 7 LPA. Vedanta, Deloitte, etc., are top recruiters. 80% got internships. For placement, you need to put in your effort and be in the top 20% of your branch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not up to par with this generation. Hostels are not good; bathrooms were very dirty. The mess food is decent, but the taste is not so good. Wi-Fi is not available on the campus. Medical facilities are very poor in the college, and there are no medical facilities around the college.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and support students in appearing for the GATE exam. They teach as per the curriculum. Semester exams are very challenging; you have to put in effort to pass. A one-night study will not help you pass the exam.
Other: I appeared for the JEE exam, and according to my rank, I got into the college.

Thoughts of College for the Next Generation.
Placements: Hii, I am Ramesh Hansda. I am a 1st-year chemical engineering student at BIT SINDRI batch 2k23-2k27. In my college, around 80-90% of engineering students get placed in several companies like Vedanta, Tata Steel, etc. 16 Lacs per annum is the highest package offered by the company and around 10 Lacs is the average package, with the lowest being up to 6-7 Lacs. Top companies like Vedanta and TATA Steel recruit from our college.
Infrastructure: There are labs for our chemical department. Wi-Fi is also available so that we can use the internet properly. The infrastructure of classrooms is too good and the faculty of this college is really good, cooperative, and of helping nature. There is one library in our college so we don't have to buy any books related to B.Tech. There are enough hostels for students. Hostel facilities are too good and the quality of the mess is not like homemade food.
Faculty: Faculty are really too good and well qualified. They are cooperative and of helping nature. Their way of teaching is too good so you can understand easily and learn new things. This course is related to our day-to-day life like we need to drive our car with petrol or diesel which is manufactured in chemical industries like IOCL, GAIL, BPCL, etc. Semester exams are not too hard; you can easily clear them. You have to score a minimum of 33% to clear the exam.
Other: I chose the chemical engineering branch because I am good in chemistry and I want to build my career in the chemical industry. The best thing about choosing chemical engineering is that you get enough money to live your life. There is no need to improve in my course.

Green and lush campus with superb infrastructure.
Placements: About 90 per cent of students got placed last year, the highest package was around INR 50 LPA last year, while the average package was INR 7 LPA and the lowest was INR 3 LPA. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Tata Steel, Jindal Steel, Adani, and Samsung are our top recruiters. The top role from my branch that I will get is a process engineer and product manager.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well equipped with smart boards and we have a common library here. We have a huge department building where all types of machines are available which are used in industries. The hostel in 1st year is quite pathetic, we are 5 boys in one room, just makes noise which leads to difficulty in studying. We have sports clubs dedicated to all types of games.
Faculty: Our teachers are graduates from IITs and NITs they are well known from the industries and are great as teachers. The course curriculum is standard and maintained by AICTE and is helpful with the real-based industry. Semester exams are quite a medium level of hardness and require 1 week of focused study to get decent marks. About 85% passes.
Other: So my course is chemical engineering and this branch is not much available in the country. The main reason for choosing this course is to take GATE exams. The best thing about this course is the low competition in GATE and I can get decent-paying jobs in campus placements. The main thing that needs improvement is the department building, just this will boost everything. Events like SANDHAAN, FOYCE, BITANSH, are the main events of our college. Our college provides scholarships like Ekalyaan and Reliance scholarships. The crowd here is 700 per year.

JEECE which is the state entrance exam for engineering in Jharkhand and JEE Main

A:

The latest cutoff was JEE Main rank of 181000 which is the maximum Rank they accepted last year.
