Our college is good in all aspects.

It is the best college in Delhi.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements and internships for students. Companies won't visit our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Our college building is excellent with 7 floors and 10 lifts. Our college has a library on 3 floors. There are around 50,000 books in our library, and the sitting arrangement is very good. Our library, classrooms, halls, and auditoriums are air-conditioned. Restrooms are well-maintained.
Faculty: Our teachers are very good, well-qualified, and experienced. They conduct extra classes every Sunday.

Overall everything is adequate but can be improved. But don't expect anything spectacular.
Placements: Placements are limited to some courses and some students. Regards in the form of payments are not satisfactory at all. Courses like computer science and B.Com. do get some opportunities to be placed at an average salary, but others don't even have good internships.
Infrastructure: Classroom walls, desks, and digital equipment need preparation. Washrooms need renovation on each floor. The windows, lifts, and cafeteria require a lot of changes, like proper lighting and cleaning in lifts and more chairs, as well as hygienic food options in the cafeteria.
Faculty: The humanities department's faculty is quite helpful. The subjects that I opted for were history and political science, and there were good teachers for those in almost every semester. The English faculty is amazing. If you are thinking of pursuing English honours, you should definitely have this college on your list.

Our college has good infrastructure and a nice hostel but not so good food and faculty.
Placements: The scope of getting good placements is low in this college. Good companies don't choose this college. You have to do your best to perform well on campus placements. Faculty members do not help with placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best in the whole of Delhi University. The hostel is very good. Food facilities of the hostel mess are not so good but acceptable. The sports faculty is good but there is no basketball ground. There is no scope for sports like basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis, etc. Cricket is average. There is no good ground in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are not so good. They are acceptable but not so good. They are helpful but not knowledgeable. B.A. is not a good option because of its unpredictable faculty. Semester exams are not so tough but because of the incompletion of the course, you might face problems.

Review of Deen Dayal Upadhayay College.
Placements: Chances to get internships are fewer. Mostly, people opt for further studies or coaching for UPSC, which is why fewer people are interested in internships and placements. The focus area of students in this course is on coaching for UPSC or PCS exams, which is the reason for low placements.
Infrastructure: Hostel is good, all the facilities are provided. Infrastructure is good all over DU. Overall, the hostel is a nice place to live here. The quality of food is below average in the mess; rest almost all other facilities are there. Sports facilities are also there.
Faculty: Difficulty level is moderate. Exams are easy, but the syllabus is completed on the verge of exams and sometimes not even completed. It depends on the professor whether the syllabus is going to be completed or not, or else you have to do it on your own.

Q:   Which is best in terms of Bsc placement, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College or DU?

A:

Hello Nishar Ahmed, your query is alright but it perhaps begs little more clarity. Let me put it this way. DDU is a college with students, professors coming every day for learning and teaching and is known for its Bsc Course. DU on the other hand is only an administrative entity. It may issue policy, set up syllabus, decide on working hours, holidays etc. But there is no classroom and no student passes out. Of course students do pass out from different colleges affiliated to it. There are few universities which have faculty and specialised courses but these are invariably at level of PG and placements of these students pursuing PG is on a different level than for undergraduate students.
I can not resist the urge to quote "one should not compare oranges with apples"!
Best wishes to you.

Q:   What is the procedure to take BSc admission at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College?

A:

Hello Nishar Ahmed, the procedure or the process of seeking admission in Deen Dayal Upadhyay college of Delhi University is quite simple and straight forward and it is exactly same for seeking admission in any other college under Delhi University. A student needs to register himself on the special portal of Delhi University created for admissions process and is called CSAS or Common Seat Allocation System. After this the student needs to register for CUET examination conducted by National Testing Agency and seek good percentile since admissions invariably close above percentile of 95 in this college.
However to help you further I am attaching a link that will give you in detail the complete procedure of registration for admission in this college before the CUET examination and after the examination.

Q:   What is the cutoff for BSc at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College?

A:

Hello Nishar Ahmed, Deendayal Upadhyay college under Delhi University is quite well known for its academics. It has ranking of 24 which is considered quite good. Due to this, cut offs at this Institute are quite high for all the undergraduate courses that it offers. From different sources that I could go through, the cutoffs in the year 2022 were set between 94 to 96 for different BSc courses which are offered by this college. Cutoffs very every year and it depends on the number of seats available for admission and also the results of the CUET examination. In the year 2023 either the paper was little soft  or the students were now aware of what type of questions are asked and as a result more than 20000 students have scored 100 percentile. Not only this the students who have scored percentile above 95 are more than two and half lakh. Of course this is all India figure and this test is applicable for all the Central University across India and therefore it can be safely assumed that not all the students will come up to colleges under Delhi University.  Be that as it may, this is bound to increase the competition and as a result it is expected that the cutoffs for the year 2023 for BSc courses may increase by one or two percentiles.
Best wishes to you.
