Q:   Is B.E. / B.Tech at ADGITM worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at ADGITM Worth the Investment?

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Pros:

* Good infrastructure: The college has modern infrastructure, including well-equipped laboratories, libraries, and sports facilities.
* Qualified faculty: Most teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful in nature.
* Relevant curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant, making students industry-ready.
* Decent placements: While placements may not be exceptional, around 60-80% of students get placed, with top packages reaching up to INR15-18 LPA.
* Internship opportunities: Internships are offered to students, providing valuable industry experience.

Cons:

* Placement cell needs improvement: Despite efforts, the placement cell could benefit from further growth.
* Limited hostel options: Unfortunately, the college does not offer hostel facilities, forcing students to find alternative accommodations.
* Variable teacher quality: Not all teachers may be equally effective or supportive.
* Average package: While some students receive high packages, the average package offered is relatively lower.

Overall, while ADGITM has its strengths, particularly in terms of infrastructure and faculty, there is room for improvement in certain areas, such as placements and accommodation options. With careful consideration and planning, students can still reap benefits from investing in a B.E./B.Tech programme at ADGITM.

Note: These findings are based solely on the provided student testimonials and alumni feedback. Opinions and experiences may vary.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Review of Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management.
Placements: The placement here are very average. The on-campus placements are very poor. There is no scope for internships. The off-campus placement is something for which I have given 3 stars. You have an IPU degree, which is good after that; it all depends on your skills. And the highest packages shown here are off campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here from outside looks so good. The campus seems decently managed in terms of using the small 8-acre size. But it is pathetic from inside. The classrooms are very poor. The library, labs, and all are seen like a decade ago. That's it about infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty are okay here. The faculty are not good, to be honest; they just come, teach, and go; there isn't any interaction in class. The teachers are quite rude. And curriculum here is just very, very bad; it is totally outdated. In your very first year, you study subjects like human values, Indian constitution, EVS, etc.

ADGITM,The college with excellent things.
Placements: In our college placement, the highest package college has received was 44 LPA from a student of 2022 that was in Amazon and also our college has got internship in Microsoft power, 15LPA for 3 months. Also, in our college, the average package is 6 LPA for student with conditions like good attendance and a CGPA of 8. The Recruiting companies are TCS WIPRO, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college consists of 5 blocks; each block represents a different work. Also, the college has Wi-Fi available at each block and on each floor with a speed of 200 to 300 mbps. college campus consists of each and every lab that should be there, like Chemistry lab physics lab for first-year student and various upper-level labs, like robotics lab for second- and third-year students. Our college has 2 library: one for law students and a central library that can be accessed by any student.
Faculty: Our teachers are well qualified; most of them are Ph.D.s, and those who are not are pursuing it now. They are also very helpful; they help us in everything that is possible for them. The teaching quality is also good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant; it also makes students industry-ready; in fact, there are various sessions for it.
Other: The course we are pursuing is artificial intelligence with machine learning, so it is a very future-proofing course. Currently, we are in our first year and learning the basics of engineering. We are not that familiar with artificial intelligence and machine learning, so what I can tell you is that in the first year of our course, which is engineering, we should learn this course as it will be the basics of engineering. Besides that, there are various events conducted by our college; one of them is Utkarsh, the official event of Adgitm. It is a 3-day event consisting of various things.

In recent years, placements have improved.
Placements: Placements are kind of average. The highest package is 44 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. If you are able to do well in developing your skills, then it's a guarantee that it would be a good college for you. Definitely consider this or this is better then many private Noida colleges.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are decent. The labs are good. The canteen is also available. Sports facilities are very good. Medical facilities are also available. Infrastructure is kind of decent; you will never feel that infrastructure is any type of problem there. There are good labs and classrooms.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and good at teaching. The course structure is also good. Semester exams are moderate. The passing percentage is 40%. Some teachers do not have that much knowledge. They will support you and are not strict on attendance .

Review of Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management.
Placements: Around 82% of students got placed in the previous year. The highest salary package offered for the computer science branch is 45 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Amazon, Paytm, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. Wi-Fi is available on all floors. All labs are Wi-Fi enabled. Our college has a library for students' self-study. Canteen is located in the middle of our college, but it is small. It is satisfied.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They always try to help every student in their study. They provide extra classes at the time of exams so that students can clear their doubts. Semester exams are conducted after 3 months of study. Question papers are organised by IP University.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it, and it is the only course that has an extra scope in the future. I have good knowledge in this field.

ADGITM college review by a fresher.
Placements: In our college, 70% of students are placed every year on the basis of their percentage of attendance and CGPA in their career of exams. The top packages range from 44 to 68 LPA from 22 to 2024; this year it was the highest. Also, there are many students with packages above 20 LPA, and the average package is 3.6 LPA that every student gets from our college. There are many students who got internships in various startups and other small companies in the name of training by being partnered by our college.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good there is Wi-Fi available on whole campus; you can get the password from the HOD of your year; and there is also a large area for various sports activities badminton court are also present between 2nd and 3rd blocks. There are a total 5 blocks in our colleges and there is a central library in the 3rd block and a library for law students in the 1st block as well. The canteen food is good but you can get good burgers and sandwiches in the shop beside the canteen; they are also better. Also, there is a Nescafe store.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful; they give good internals as well as not much feedback about the assignments. If you give them late submissions, some of them are also not picky about files and all the course curriculum for the first year revolves around the basic engineering sciences and other subjects. Also, the semester exams are moderate in nature and difficult .
Other: I chose artificial intelligence and machine learning as a course because it is a growing and future-proof course and also because the subjects are in my interest. The thing that can be added to the course is the implementation of core subjects from the first year with the basic sciences. As well, the events held in colleges are fun, like the annual festival in Utkarsh and other technical events like Hack n Hill by GDSC, and the technical club of our college is also nice.
