Pseudo engineering college.

Placements: Placement is average, like INR 6 to 7 LPAs, and only service-based companies recruit every year. There is more placement for the mechanical branch as compared to other branches, and many reputed companies come for placement, like Maruti Suzuki, Trident, TCS, Wipro, and many more.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility available in the college; there is no changing spot for students; the campus is very small, like a school; and classes are also very poor in infrastructure. Very old school items and facilities are available, where students get very excited about studying at this college and feel that the facilities and placement are very high, and there is no fest or event organized for students.

Faculty: Faculty are very tier 3 and there are no facilities available, like labs, that are in working condition, even though they charge very much. This is not worth it at all for taking admission, in spite of the government tag and the exam pattern is very good; there are 55 percent internal and 45 percent external.

Other: The campus is very small; there is no good crowd and no international students studying.

Review of G.B. Pant Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University - Okhla: I Campus.

Placements: DSEU has many B. Tech programs and one of them is mechanical engineering. It is a combination of electronics, computer science, and mechanical engineering. Our batch is the first, with approximately 75 students. The highest salary package is offered at 25 LPA, which is off-campus, and the lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Maruti Suzuki and Kotak Mahindra are the organisations providing placements for students in the 7th semester this year.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel on this campus. In all the labs and the library, we have Wi-Fi access. Labs are well-equipped, and the library contains all the books recommended in the course outline. The workshop area is well-equipped with medical facilities. Classrooms have capacity of more than 60 seats. The canteen has good quality food and is pocket-friendly.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. They are qualified, having received their doctorate degrees from top universities. The teaching quality is good. The course outline is excellent. It helps students learn about their industry step by step. Semester exams are conducted on campus. There is a 50% weight on assignments, attendance, files, lab work, and vivas, and 25% mid-term and 25% end-term.

Other: This course is a combination of electronics, mechanical, and computer science engineering. In this course, you learn the making of new machines using these three techniques. Mechatronics deals with robotics. The college organises a campus-level sports meet every year. There are four activity days in a semester. Our college has good transportation facilities. They offer merit-based and reserved-category scholarships.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the infrastructure!

Placements: The placement of gb pant under ipu were good. The first batch of gb pant affiliated with dseu will place in the year 2024-25. The placement of mechanical were decent. Top recruiting companies were Byjus, Tata, oracle, etc. highest package was around 21 lpa meanwhile lowest was 3 lpa. The average package is 4-5 lpa .

Infrastructure: Very small campus. Classrooms are fine but A.C.s are not present. Only 1 basketball court, 1 badminton court and 1 volleyball court. The campus is merged with dseu okhla campus 3. The library is fully air conditioned and all the course books are available.

Faculty: Faculty is decent. Exam level is moderate. Teachers are qualified and helpful. The external is 70% and internal 30% the pass percentage is 33%. It is easy to score 7+ CGPA here. Students has to work on their skills to be industry ready. The labs are well equipped.

Other: No Fests, campus crowd is okay. Scholarships are available for SC & ST students. Nearest metro station is Govindpuri (Violet line). The most active society here is "Buniyad" the theatre society.

I am satisfied with teachers and good placements.

Placements: In our college, almost 70% to 90% of the students were placed. The lowest salary package offered was INR 1.80 LPA and the average salary package offered was INR 2.10 LPA. The highest salary package offered was INR 3.40 LPA. Top recruiting companies such as Maruti, ITC, IGL, etc. , visited our campus. Almost 60% of the students got internships at Hyundai and Renault. Top roles offered were of project engineer and assistant engineer.

Infrastructure: All facilities were available at our college. We were given bus passes at half price. Wi-Fi was available for students. The canteen was available. The infrastructure was more than average. The area of the campus was quite large. There were three workshops, one of which was for mechanical work. There were some labs for the mechanical branch, like the thermal lab, the fluid mechanics lab, the SOM lab, the RAC lab, etc. The library was available. Facilities in our hostel were average. The food was adequate but not exceptional. Medical facilities were available. Outdoor games included cricket and football.

Faculty: The teaching quality was good. The course curriculum was relevant. They imparted knowledge about the basics of the industry. The semester exams were easy if you read the topics that the teachers taught. Board exams were hard compared to semester exams. The pass percentage was 70% to 80%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in this field. The topic covered almost all branches. Our teachers gave us practical knowledge. Our college organized events.

Our college and its placements are average.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Tata, Honda, and Amazon. About 50% of students got internships in companies like Amazon, Salesforce, etc. Top roles offered are electrical engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available in our college. Laboratories are good. Students can take hostels from outside. There are many hostels available outside of our college. There are many mess facilities in our college. Canteen is good. The ground facilities are not good.

Faculty: Faculty members are good, polite, and helpful. They always help students in all aspects. The workload is more in our college. Many subjects are not necessary for the syllabus. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. If students study, they can score a 9 CGPA. Marks depend on students' abilities and hard work.
