GEC Gandhi Nagar- A deemed college.
Placements: I asked my seniors, and they said almost 70% of students get placed in college, and other students get off-campus placement. TCS visits the college to hire students. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 7 LPA as per my seniors. Almost all students get an internship in companies. As it is a government college, it has good placements, but I will say in mid range.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good here. There are libraries, a canteen, Wi-Fi, classrooms, and labs. Every subject has its own laboratory. All labs have the required equipment. The hostel has a mess and canteen. Sports grounds are there to have fun with friends.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-qualified here, some have also passed out from the same college. Teachers here teach very well. They do not rush to complete the syllabus but explain all the things. Labs are our favorite as they are good at it. Semester exams are moderate and the pass percentage is 85%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to join as electronics has more futures and many opportunities ahead. Culture festivals are held here and it also conducts sports day every year.

Good Review of GEC, Gandhinagar.
Placements: 50-70% of students are placed in Electronics and Communication. The package ranges from 1 LPA to 5 LPA, with an average of 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include BAJU'S, TCS, INFOSYS, etc. 60% of students got internships from Electronics and Communication and Nishav Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., etc.
Infrastructure: The Electronics and Communication Engineering course faculties are good, and the facilities include Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, canteen, etc. Many PG rooms are available in the city. The hostel is good, but no mess is available. The canteen food quality is good, and the medical facility provides an annual check-up of the body.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, and their qualifications include BE, ME, and Ph.D. The knowledge level of the teachers is very good, and many are helpful in improving skills. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty, with mid-term and final exams to clear the semester.

Review of Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar.
Placements: Almost only 20 percent of students get placement from college; you also have to try for off-campus placement. The highest package from our college is 6 LPA; many students get internships off campus. Therefore, during academics, students should also have to apply for internships.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is good; it also provides LB facilities on the college campus. We also have a small canteen available for students, but the food quality is not good. One library is also available in our college for college students. We can study and borrow some books from the library.
Faculty: Some of the faculty are really good and supportive. In each semester at our university, we conduct two exams (that is, one is a mid-semester exam and the other one is the semester exam). The passing marks for each exam for students are 30 percent. They have to score a minimum of 30 percent of total marks.

Value for money, good curriculum, best location.
Placements: On average, 70% of students were placed in the EC branch. The highest package was 8.5 LPA and the lowest was 2.4 LPA. The top companies that came for campus placement are Adani, TCS, Tata, Tech Digilent, etc. All students got internship/placement in the EC branch. In my course, the top roles are VLSI Engineer, Project Manager, Network Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: This is a government college of Gujarat state; it has the best infrastructure, labs, library, equipment, and machines. The Namo Wi-Fi 5G technology is provided all over the campus. It has a big garden and grounds, and also supports athletics and sports at the national level.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and helpful. All teachers are from IITs and have degrees of Masters and above. Exams are based on the curriculum, but the level of the exam is hard. Overall, it expands your knowledge very well in your field, making you industry-ready.

Review of Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar.
Placements: The placement is good as per the government college. But there are few placements worse than even possible. You have to either sit for placement or study higher; there is no option for both as per the circular. The highest package is 7-10 LPA. The lowest is 1-1.5 LPA. Instead of this, learn new skills and try off placement, then go for a low one.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the worst. Wi-Fi is not available. Many classrooms don't have fans working. Library is good. Labs don't have accessories and don't have any computers and parts. They should work on the infrastructure well. Food quality at the canteen is bad. Sports and games are just for competition; no special sports thing is available.
Faculty: Most of the faculty is good. They don't care for attendance if you are performing well. Only a few of the faculty are not good. They force you for coming to. College and give fewer marks for attendance. This is how they treat. Those who come to college are failed, and those who don't are passed. The course is a bit old. Learning 8085 in the generation of Intel and AMD.
Other: The course is okayish, but I think CS is much better than this course.
